(1)The topic/s of this course affect me in way that it gives
me a framework for considering human development, mental development, and, most importantly, 'learning.' It is critical to me/us to learn about these notions as a future teacher because it has a close association with pupils' development and learning behavior. (2) The topic/s that catch the my attention is The Ecological Learning Theory it gives me an idea that as a future teacher we need to have the ability to give a holistic framework and lessen the very human tendency to work primarily from what is familiar, while disregarding or even dismissing other learning theories or philosophies. As what I’ve learned this theory it examines a child's growth in the context of the interactions that make up his or her social environment. Since this theory was came from Bronfenbrenner's theory identifies multiple "layers" of the environment, I learned that each part has an impact on a child's development. Which this idea has lately been termed "bioecological systems theory" to underline that a child's own biological and ecological systems are intertwined. As this theory have implications in the practice of teaching. Being aware about the challenges rising within children’s University of San Agustin College of Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Education Gen. Social Studies IV homes.(3) This course changed my mind about how to handle and understand a person or a child, that we should not judge them easily for a reason that In our lesson in this subject I learned that the process of human growth and development lasts a person's entire lifespan, from conception
to death. The physical processes that result in a change in
the quantifiable dimensions of an individual's body are referred to as growth. Development, on the other hand, is the gradual gain of abilities over time. Social scientists and behavioral scientists are studying the process of growth and development in order to better comprehend the sequence of events. Similarly, everyone has to comprehend the human growth and development process in order to react appropriately to new stages in life, lastly I learned that It’s vital to apply what you've learned about human behavior and the social environment to each scenario.(4) For my own view I must say that this subject fulfill and able to give me a new knowledge/theories which able to fill in the spaces in my mind and this learning can be used in the future. Since this subject is really important because it can be a tool for us as a future educator. I’m happy to be in this class and enjoy every e-learning moment together with other students. Social Studies IV learning all of us faced different difficulties in our home and school, So I can fully Understand if we have some unaddressed critical issues that didn’t appear in the topics/modules it wasn’t that much since I believe that sir Frank was able to deliver those theories and lesson excellently with passion and love. This thing gives me a inspiration to be more flexible and more resilient during this time of pandemic. (6) This course relate to anything from my life’s experiences for a reason that I have a nephew which they live in a place that they are not used to socialize on other people. Since this theory was introduced by Sir Frank I was able now to understand why my nephew is shy. Yes I
observed that if they went here in our city people always
mentioned the work “manol” just because they don’t talk too much and doesn’t even play with other kids. Since that I have knowledge to this theory I can now understand their situation. And to make this learning more meaningful I can educate the people in our barangay why this things happen to them and to other people in that way we can have a less judgment society with full of love and courage.
