LINUX OS
Linux is the free and open-source operating system built across the
Linux kernel. It is a very powerful operating system that provides
excellent control and command over the device (CPU).

 Linux began in 1991

 LINUX CAN BREATHE NEW LIFE INTO OLD COMPUTERS
 LINUX IS VERY STABLE

VERSIONS OF LINUX

 SUSE
It is a multinational, open source software company based in
Germany that develops and sells Linux products to business
customers. It was the first company to market Linux for the
enterprise, having been founded in 1992.

 FEDORA
Fedora (formerly Fedora Core) is a Red Hat-owned operating
system based on the Linux kernel and developed by the Fedora
Project.

 REDHAT
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is a Linux distribution designed
for the commercial market by Red Hat.

 DEBIAN
Debian is an operating system primarily composed of free
software, the majority of which is licensed under the GNU
General Public License, and developed by a group of volunteers
who collaborate via the Internet.

 UBANTU
Ubuntu is a Linux operating system based on Debian, with Unity
as its default desktop environment. It is based on free software.

 KNOPPIX
It is a Debian-based operating system that can be run directly
from a CD/DVD or a USB flash drive, making it one of the first of
its kind for any operating system. Klaus Knopper, a Linux
consultant, created Knoppix.

 SLACKWARE
Patrick Volkerding founded the Linux distribution in 1993.
Slackware aims to be the most "Unix-like" Linux distribution in
terms of design stability and simplicity.

Pros:

 Low Cost
You do not need to pay for its license because its software is
distributed under the GNU General Public License. You can also
download high-quality software for Linux for free from
wherever you want, and you don't have to worry about your
program freezing due to the trial version.

 Stability
Linux is stable enough to handle your daily tasks. It is not
necessary to reboot it on a regular basis. It can also handle a
large number of users without crashing or slowing down due to
memory problems.

 Security
One of Linux's best features is its high level of security. Because
it is an open-source operating system, there are numerous
developers around the world who monitor for viruses and
potential threats. As a result, when the code needs to be
upgraded or changed, it can be done quickly.

 Performance
Linux provides excellent performance on both workstations and
networks. It also aids in making old computers functional and
usable again, and it can handle multiple users at once.

Pros:

 Hardware
