Dear Hiring Committee,

I am writing to express my strong interest in the Secondary Teacher position at Sta Rosa National
High School with my background in Science and six years of teaching experience, I am confident in
my ability to contribute to the educational excellence at your institution.

I have completed a Bachelor's degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Bicol
Colleges, Masbate City and took up my Diploma in Teaching Secondary Education Major in Science
from Eastern Visayas State University Carigara- Campus. Where I acquired a solid foundation in
scientific principles and methodology. Throughout my academic journey, I developed a deep passion
for sharing knowledge and fostering curiosity among students. This passion led me to pursue a career
in teaching, and I have been fortunate to teach science to senior high school students since 2016 up to
present in Sta Rosa National High School Barugo, Leyte.

During my teaching career, I have had the opportunity to teach a wide range of science courses and
other courses too, including Earth and Life Science, Disciplines and Ideas in Social Science, Personal
Development and Trends, & Networks in the 21st Century. I am well-versed in developing engaging
lesson plans, implementing effective teaching strategies, and integrating technology into the
classroom. I strive to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that caters to the
diverse needs of my students, encouraging active participation and critical thinking.
My experience has also allowed me to develop strong communication and interpersonal skills, which I
believe are crucial for fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. I am
adept at collaborating with fellow educators to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that
enhance the overall learning experience. I firmly believe in the importance of continuous professional
development and staying updated with the latest educational practices and scientific advancements.

I am particularly drawn to Sta Rosa National High School due to its exceptional reputation for
academic excellence and commitment to fostering a holistic approach to education. I am impressed by
the school's dedication to providing a well-rounded education, incorporating innovative teaching
methods, and fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for students. I am eager to contribute
my skills and experience to further enhance the school's science department and help students excel in
their scientific pursuits.

I would welcome the opportunity to discuss in further detail how my qualifications align with the

Spirit-filled greetings!
I am Ma. Lourdes A. San Pedro, a Teacher II of Sta Rosa National High School of the Schools
Division of Leyte and have been teaching in the Senior High School - HUMSS for 7 years.
This is to express my intent to seek transfer from the present school, Sta Rosa National High School,
Barugo, Leyte to a any High School within the Municipality of Carigara Leyte. specifically, Jugaban
National High School, Brgy. Jugaban Carigara, Leyte for the following reasons as stated herein based
on the DepEd Order #22, s. 2013:
1. I am bonafide resident and voter of Barangay Barugohay Central Carigara Leyte;
2. The distance of our place to my station hinders my commitment to serve. It’s been my
long-time dream to teach at my home town and to be of service to our community.
My dream of becoming a teacher started there;
3. I am traveling almost two (45) minutes back and forth every day. Moreover, I am afraid of
the possible incidents that will happen along my way, by this, I feel unsecured but
prayer is the only power tool during my traveling time; and
4. Transferring to a nearer school causes me to spend more time for my senior citizen
parents and to the whole family after work and for me to be able to take care and protect them
from any circumstances and it would be practical it that would be granted because I am the
breadwinner of our family.
In view of the above-mentioned reasons, and in consideration of my right and privileges, please
understand my situation and I am humbly appealing to your office to consider my intention to
transfer. Thank you very much and God bless.
