I INTENT

This specification is intended to cover the design, manufacture, assembly, testing at manufacturer's works,
packing, supply, transportation, receipt at site, installation, testing and commissioning of Medium Voltage
(MV) Switchgear comprising of Power Control Centre (PCC), Motor Control Centre (MCC), Power-cum-
Motor Control Centre (PMCC) etc. complete with all materials and accessories for efficient and trouble free
operation.

II CODES & STANDARDS ######

1 The design, manufacture and performance of equipment shall comply with all currently applicable
Indian Standards, Central Electricity Authority Regulations 2010, statutory regulations and safety codes.

2 Unless otherwise specified, equipment shall conform to the latest applicable Indian Standards and in
particular the following:

In case of imported equipment, standards of the country of origin shall be applicable if these standards
are equivalent or stringent than the applicable Indian standards.

The equipment shall also conform to the provisions of CEA Regulations 2010 and other statutory
regulations currently in force in the country.

In case Indian standards are not available for any equipment, standards issued by IEC/BS /VDE/ IEEE/
NEMA or equivalent agency shall be applicable.

III GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1 Construction:

MV Switch board shall be metal-clad, air insulated, free standing, floor mounted, compartmentalized
suitable for Indoor installation. The design and construction shall be such as to allow extension at either
end at a future date. End of bus bars shall be suitably drilled for this purpose. Panels at extreme end
shall have openings, which shall be covered with plates screwed to the panel.

The switchboard shall be made up of rigid welded structural frame enclosed by cold rolled sheet steel
of thickness not less than 1.6 mm. All hardware e.g. nuts, bolts, washers etc. shall be galvanized or
zinc passivated. The assembly shall be modular type, multi-tier fully compartmentalized with metal /
insulating partitions / compartments. The switchboard shall be assembled out of vertical panels of
uniform height, not exceeding 2450 mm in a single line up. The working height shall be limited within
250 mm to 1900 mm from floor level. Each compartment shall be dedicated to a feeder.

Switch board shall be single/ double front as mentioned elsewhere in the bid and fully draw out type.
The circuit breaker panels shall be in single front execution only. Panels shall be suitable for bottom
entry of cables.

All identical equipment and corresponding parts shall be fully interchangeable without any need for
resorting to structural modification. Automatic safety shutters shall be provided to ensure the in-
accessibility of all live parts after the breaker is drawn out. It shall not be possible to draw out the
carriage or rack it in with circuit breaker closed. The breaker /contactor feeder trolley shall remain
inside the cubicle even in the test position. Each control module shall be housed in a separate
compartment, complete with an individual front access door with panel locking arrangement. Also
access from rear side for each vertical panel section is to be provided with bolted panel covers. All
doors and covers shall have neoprene gasket. The switchboard enclosure shall be dust & vermin proof
and shall provide degree of protection not less than IP-42.

All push buttons, lamps, indicating instruments shall be flush/ semi-flush mounted on respective
module compartment.

A full height vertical cable chamber with cable supports shall be provided in each section to facilitate
wiring. The chamber shall have cover at the front for access.

Horizontal wire-way, extending the entire length shall be provided at the top of each panel for inter
panel cabling and wiring.

The switchboard shall be provided with integral base frame (ISMC - 75) for each vertical panel and
shall be suitable for direct bolting / welding to the embedded base frame.

The switchboard shall be designed to ensure maximum safety during operation, inspection, connection
of cables, relocation of outgoing circuits and maintenance, with the bus-bar system energized and
without taking any special precaution. Means shall be provided to prevent shorting of power and/or
control terminals due to accidental dropping of maintenance tools etc. inside the switchboard. Checking
and removal of components shall be possible without disturbing adjacent equipment. All auxiliary
equipment should be easily accessible.

Each vertical panel (other than breaker feeder panel) shall have a separate cable alley. The width of
this cable alley shall be sufficient to accommodate all the cables and shall have free access for cable
terminations and in any case shall not be less than 200mm minimum. Cable alleys shall be provided
with suitable doors.

Suitable lifting hooks shall be provided on each panel or shipping section.

2 Bus Bars:

The main buses and connections shall be of high conductivity copper, sized for specified and uniform
current ratings throughout their length. The hot spot temperature of bus bars, including joints, at design
ambient temperature shall not exceed 105° C under normal operating conditions. However, for silver
plated joints, the allowable maximum temperature shall be 115°C. The current rating of the neutral bus
shall be 50% of that of the phase bus bars. The size of main bus shall also be suitable for the specified
fault level of the panel. Control bus shall be of copper. Earth bus at bottom shall be provided along the
full length of switchboard.

Bus-bars shall be supported on insulators made of non-hygroscopic, non-inflammable material with


tracking index equal to or more than 600 mm. as per IEC-60112. Adequate bus connections contact
pressure shall be ensured by means of four- bolt connection with plain and spring washers and
locknuts. Bimetallic connector shall be provided for connection between dissimilar metals. Switchboard
shall have separate earthling terminal studs as per CEA Regulation 2010. Bus-bars and connections
shall be fully insulated with heat shrinkable sleeves for working voltage with clearance between live
parts, between live parts/ neutral and ground as per latest IS specifications. Insulating sleeves for
busbars and shrouds for joints shall be provided. Bus-bars shall be supported and braced to withstand
the mechanical stresses due to maximum short circuit current and also to take care of any thermal
expansion. Bus-bars shall be colour coded for easy identification alternatively colour bands at suitable
intervals along PVC sleeved bus bars may be provided. Interconnections between the main bus- bars
and individual units shall be made by using vertical copper bus-bars of adequate rating. Vertical bus-
bars for circuit breaker panels shall be sized depending upon the rating and number of breakers per
vertical panel, and they shall be of uniform cross section. The vertical bus-bars shall be sleeved and
provided with anti-tracking barriers as an integral part of bus-bar zone.

3 Space Heaters:

The switchboard panels shall be provided with space heaters to prevent moisture condensation. The
space heater with porcelain connectors shall be located at the bottom of each panel and shall be
supplied from 240V AC aux bus for space heater. The space heater shall be provided with a manually
operated switch, DP-MCB with thermostat regulator.

4 Auxiliary Bus Bar:

Perforated sheet steel/ insulating material enclosed horizontal auxiliary bus- bars each of minimum size
18mm2 copper shall be provided for following applications.

i Panel space heater supply and motor space heater supply.

ii Control supply for breaker tripping, closing and indication circuits.

iii Control supply for breaker spring charging motors, motor starter control and indication circuits.

iv AC PT supply for energy meters, voltage operated relays etc.

Exact numbers of bus-bars shall depend on various controls, indication, metering and auxiliary
power distribution requirements. Tee-off connectors shall be used for distributing auxiliary supply
to each vertical panel. Rubber grommets shall be used for all wire entries to make the entries dust
and vermin proof.

5 Air Circuit Breakers:

i Circuit breakers shall be air break, draw out, with motor wound spring charging stored energy type.

ii There shall be three positions for the draw out trolley "Full in", "Test" & "Full out".

1 Power operated mechanism shall be

i Provided with a spring charging motor suitable for operation on A.C. control supplies
with voltage variation from 85% to 110% rated voltage.

ii Provided with emergency manual charging facilities.

iii Provided with facilities for remote panel closing and opening operations.

2 Power operating mechanism shall be provided with the following additional features:

i Closing of the circuit breaker shall automatically initiate recharging of the spring
ready for the next closing stroke.

ii The motor shall be mechanically decoupled as soon as the emergency manual


charging handle is coupled.

iii Failure of springs, vibrations or shocks shall not cause unintended operation of
breaker or prevent intended tripping operation.

iv Closing of circuit-breakers shall be prevented unless the spring is fully charged.

v Electrical anti-pumping relay shall be provided for the circuit breaker in addition to the
mechanical anti-pumping feature incorporated in the circuit breaker

iii The circuit breaker shall be provided with series trip release for overload, short circuit and earth
fault protection. Circuit breakers shall be provided with shunt release / under voltage release as
additional items.

iv The circuit breakers shall be provided with mechanically operated emergency tripping device
control for which shall be located at the front of the panel.

v The circuit breaker shall be provided with minimum 4 NO & 4 NC spare auxiliary contacts wired up
to terminal block.

vi Circuit breaker positions shall be indicated electrically with following indicating colours:

Breaker 'Close' - Red


Breaker 'Open' - Green
Breaker 'Auto Tri - Amber

vii Circuit breaker positions (i.e. Open & Close), location (i.e. Service, Test and Draw out) and spring
charged condition shall also be indicated mechanically.

viii Circuit breakers shall be provided with anti-pumping and trip free feature.

ix Breaker handling truck:

1 One number for withdrawing the breakers from the switchboard.

2 Height of platform adjustable to suit the levels at which the breakers are mounted.

3 Adequate mechanical strength for handling the largest breaker.

4 Guide rails and stops.

x Separate compartment totally enclosed from all sides shall be provided for cable termination on
the rear side. Access to cables shall be from the rear side after opening the cabling compartment
door. The incoming/ outgoing cable termination shall be staggered for each circuit and barriers of
sheet steel or insulating material shall be provided between terminations of two circuits such that
maintenance on one circuit could be carried out while the other circuit is live. Suitable clamping
arrangements shall be provided for cables and cable termination. Terminal blocks shall not be
used for supporting the cables. The cable terminations shall be suitably sized for receiving
specified number of cables per termination and provision shall be made for terminating each
outgoing cable with a separate bolted connection. In case the total number of cables entering a
particular panel cannot be accommodated in the cabling compartment of the panel, an extension
panel of full height shall be added to the cabling compartment for accommodating extra cables.

xi Compartment doors shall be interlocked against opening when breaker is in closed condition.
However, it shall be possible to defeat this interlock for inspection purposes.

xii It shall not be possible to push “in” a drawn out circuit breaker in closed condition or withdraw a
circuit breaker in closed condition.

xiii It shall be possible to operate a circuit-breaker only in the defined “Full-in” or “service” or “test”
position inside the panel. It shall not be possible to operate the breaker in intermediate positions
while inserting or withdrawing the breaker.

xiv Any unused circuit breaker compartment shall be fully equipped and provided with compartment
door, vertical bus-bars and control terminals/ wiring etc. such that the same could be used for
housing outgoing breakers in future without any modifications to the panel.

6 Switchgear / Control Modules:

Control module shall house the control components for a circuit such as MCCB, contactors, relays,
push buttons, lamps etc. as detailed in the single line diagram. The design shall be such as to permit
easy access of all the components mounted inside the panel. Various module / compartment sizes
shall be multiple of one basic unit to facilitate modifications at site.

Fully draw-out modules required for motor control shall be of following four types and internal control
wiring of all starter modules of each type shall be identical for all ratings.

FVNR - Full voltage non-reversing starter with minimum 18 control terminals

FVNR-HD - Full voltage non-reversing heavy duty starter with long starting time such as for
compressors etc. with minimum 18 control terminals

FVR - Full voltage reversing starter with minimum 24 control terminals

FVR-HD - Full voltage heavy duty reversing starter with minimum 24 control terminals

Unused modules in the panel shall be fully equipped with power and control terminals for starter
modules and cradle for future use.

Control transformer shall be provided for each bus section of the switchboard having contactor control
feeders and each transformer shall be sized for the entire switchboard. Switchboard having two bus
sections and coupled by bus tie shall have manual changeover switch for the control transformers. The
control transformer shall have at least 10% spare capacity.

All contactor controlled starter feeders shall meet the requirements of type-2 co-ordination as per
IS/IEC: 60947

Various compartment sizes in a vertical panel shall be multiples of a basic dimension. Vertical bus bars
shall be pre-drilled at regular intervals for complete flexibility for changes in size of modules.

7 Air Break Switches:

Air break switches shall be of the heavy duty, group operated load-break, fault make type. The switches
shall be capable of withstanding the thermal stresses caused by overloads, locked rotor and short
circuit currents of values associated with protective relays settings and the let through current of the
associated fuse. All live parts of the switch shall be shrouded.

Switch operating handles shall be suitable for padlocking in 'OFF' position.

Each switch shall be interlocked with the associated compartment door to achieve the following
interlocks.

i It shall be possible to open the door only when the switch is in the “OFF” position.
ii It shall not be possible to close the switch with the door open.

Suitable means however shall be provided to intentionally release the interlocks specified. Isolator shall
be three / four pole heavy - duty type with self - aligning contacts. The AC-3 rating of individual feeder
isolator shall be minimum 125% of circuit full load current but not less than 30A.

The current carrying capacity of the switches / isolator shall be as per single line diagram and short
time rating shall at least be equal to the bus bar short time rating.

8 Fuses:

i Fuses shall be non-deteriorating HRC cartridge fuse link type. HRC fuse rating shall be selected to
ensure coordination with downstream contactor and overload relay to prevent nuisance blowing
due to starting current.

ii Fuses shall be provided with visible indication to show that they have operated.

iii Fuses shall be directly mounted on plug in type of bases. In such cases an insulated fuse pulling
handle shall be provided for each size of fuse for each switchboard.

iv For ease of maintenance all fuses of different ratings shall be of same type and same make as far
as practicable.

9 Contactors:

i Motor starter contactor shall be of the electromagnetic type for uninterrupted duty suitable for AC-3
utilization category.

ii Main contacts of motor-starter contactor shall be of silver plated copper.

iii Each motor-starter contactor shall be provided with minimum two NO and two NC auxiliary
contacts.

iv The coil of the contactor shall be suitable for operation on 415 V/ 220 V, AC supply and shall work
satisfactorily between +/- 10 % of rated voltage.

v Contactors shall comply with all other requirements of applicable standards.

10 Thermal Over load relays:

i Thermal overload relays shall be three elements, positive acting, ambient compensated type with
adjustable setting range with built in single phasing preventer (SPP) such that the SPP shall
operate even with 50% rated current at the time of single phasing .

ii Thermal overload relays shall be manually reset type with the reset push button brought out on the
front of the panel. The reset push button shall be capable of being operated without opening the
door.

iii Thermal overload relays shall be provided with 1 NO + 1 NC contacts.

iv Motor Start / Stop / Trip indicating lamps shall also be provided.

11 Moulded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs):

MCCBs shall be provided for circuit protection. MCCB ratings / MCCB frame ratings shall be selected
based upon the feeder & type of load as per the single line diagram.

MCCBs shall be provided with spring assisted, quick make/ break manually operated trip free
mechanism. MCCB shall be suitable for remote tripping operation and the tripping device shall be
suitable for the specified control supply voltage.

MCCB shall be provided with adjustable type tripping device with inverse time characteristics for over
load protection and instantaneous characteristics for short circuit protection. MCCB operating handle
“ON” and “OFF” positions shall be displayed and the operating handle shall be mounted on the door of
the compartment housing MCCB.

MCCB shall be provided with minimum 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contacts.

MCCB's as part of motor starter module shall be current limiting type and type tested for type- 2 co-
ordination as per IS/ IEC 60947.

The Moulded Case Circuit Breakers shall be interlocked with the compartment door to prevent opening
of the door when the Moulded Case Circuit Breaker is in 'ON' position and to prevent switching on when
the door is open. A defeat mechanism for this interlock shall also be provided.

12 Relays:

Relays shall be numerical/ static/ electro-mechanical type.

All electro-mechanical relays shall be back connected, draw out type, suitable for flush mounting and
fitted with dust tight covers. Auxiliary relays & lockout relays are acceptable in fixed execution.

The relay cases shall have provision for insertion of test plug at the front for 'testing and calibration'
purposes. Insertion of test plug or drawing out of the relay from its position shall automatically short-
circuit the C.T. secondary.

The relays shall be provided with hand reset type built in flag indicators. It shall be possible to reset the
flag without opening the relay case.

Each protective relay shall be provided with minimum 2 Nos. potential free contacts of required
configuration.

Each tripping relay shall be lockout type with hand reset coil cut-off contact. Minimum 4 numbers
potential free auxiliary contacts of required configuration shall be provided for each tripping relay. The
tripping relay shall be suitable for satisfactory operation from 50% to 110% of the specified control
supply voltage.

13 Instrument Transformers:

Current transformers shall be cast-resin insulated type. The CT ratio and VA burden shall be
determined by the vendor, based on data supplied in the SLD. Current transformers shall conform to IS-
2705. Protective current transformers shall have an accuracy class “5P" and an accuracy limit factor
greater than "10". However C.T.s for restricted earth fault and differential protection shall be of class
“PS”. Vendor shall coordinate the knee point voltage, magnetizing current for PS class CTs to avoid
saturation and mismatching of CTs provided at other end by other vendor.

Current transformers for instruments shall have an accuracy class 1.0 and instrument security factor
less than 5.0. The current transformers shall be capable of withstanding the applicable peak
momentary short circuit and the symmetrical short circuit current for 1.0 second. The neutral side of the
current transformers shall be earthed through a link. Separate C.T.s shall be provided for measuring
and protection purposes.

The voltage transformers shall conform to IS-3156 and shall be cast resin insulated type. The voltage
transformers shall be provided with primary fuses and miniature circuit breakers with auxiliary contact
on the secondary side. The VTs shall have an over voltage factor of 1.9 for 30 seconds and 1.2
continuous; an accuracy class of 1.0 (for measuring purposes) and 3P (for protection purposes) from
10% to 120% of normal voltage.

The primary of the voltage transformer shall be rated for 415 volts and the secondary for 110 volts.
Neutral point of the star connected VTs both on the primary and secondary sides shall be earthed.

14 Measuring instruments:

All measuring instruments shall be square pattern, flush mounting type

Instruments shall be provided as indicated in Design Basis-Electrical. All auxiliary equipment such as
shunts, transducers, C.T.s, P.T.s etc. as required shall be included in the supply.

All ammeters, volt meters, KW meters shall be of moving iron type for AC and permanent magnet type
for DC. Accuracy class shall be minimum 2.5 for KW/ KWH meters and 1.5 for ammeters and
voltmeters as per IS-1248. The KW/ KWH meters shall be suitable to measure unbalanced loads on a
3-phase, 4-wire system. Ammeters for motor feeders shall have a non-linear compressed scale at the
end to indicate motor starting current.

Digital meters are also acceptable. All digital meters shall be highly reliable, accurate, compact and self-
powered.

15 Miniature Circuit Breakers:

Miniature circuit breakers shall comply with the requirements of applicable standards and IS marked.

16 Push Buttons:

Push button shall be heavy duty, oil tight, push to actuate type.
Each push button shall have one (1) normally open and one (1) normally closed contact rated 5 amps
at 240 V, AC.

Push button colours shall be as follows:

i Stop / Open / Emergency - Red


ii Start / Close - Green
iii Reset / Test - Black/Yellow/White

17 Control Switches:

All control switches shall be rotary type, having a cam operated contact mechanism. Switch shall have
pistol grip handle for circuit breaker control and knob type handle for other applications.

Ammeter selector switches shall have make before break feature on its contacts. The selector switch
shall generally have 4 positions, three for reading 3 phase currents and the fourth position for off. The
voltmeter selector switch shall also have 4 positions. Three positions shall be used to measure phase-
to-phase voltage and fourth shall be OFF position.

18 Indication:

Lamps shall be minimum 8mm dia LED cluster type with coloured lens. LEDs and lens shall be
replaceable from the front.

Breaker positions (Close, Open, spring-charged, test position, service position) electrical indications,
with colours as given below, shall also be provided.

i Breaker ‘Closed/ON - Red Lamp


ii Breaker Open/OFF - Green Lamp
iii Breaker Auto trip - Amber lamp
iv Trip Circuit healthy - White Lamp
v Spring Charging - Blue Lamp

Outgoing feeder (Close, Open, trip) electrical indications, with colours as given below, shall also be
provided:

i Closed - Red Lamp


ii Open - Green Lamp
iii Trip - Amber lamp

19 Wiring:

The switchboard shall be fully wired at the factory to ensure proper functioning of control, protection
and interlocking schemes.

Fuse and links shall be provided to permit individual circuit isolation from bus wires without disturbing
other circuits. All spare contacts of relays, push buttons and other devices shall be wired up to terminal
blocks.

Wiring shall be done with flexible, 1100 V grade, PVC insulated switchboard wires with stranded copper
conductor of 2.5 mm2 . In case of difficulty in connection to relays / instruments, 1.5 mm2 conductors
may be used. The wiring shall preferably be enclosed in flame retardant plastic channels or neatly
bunched together.

Wire terminations shall be made with crimping type connector with insulating sleeves. Wires shall not
be spliced between terminals.

For wiring between shipping sections terminal blocks on adjoining shipping sections shall be provided
with suitable jumper wires. Inter-panel wiring shall be taken through PVC sleeves or rubber grommets.

20 Terminal Blocks:

Terminal blocks shall be 660 V grade box-clamp type with marking strips. Terminals for C.T. Secondary
leads shall have provision for shorting. Not more than two wires shall be connected to any terminal.
Spare terminals equal in number to 20% active terminals shall be furnished.

Terminal blocks shall be located to allow easy access. Wiring shall be so arranged that individual wires
of an external cable can be connected to consecutive terminal.

21 Cable Terminations:

Switchboard shall be designed with sufficient space for ease of termination and connection of cables.
All provisions and accessories shall be furnished for termination and connection of cables, including
removable gland plates, cable supports, crimp type tinned copper lugs, brass double compression
glands with tapered washer (power cables only) and terminal blocks.

The gland plate and supporting arrangement for incoming power cables shall be such as to prevent
flow of eddy current.

22 Ground Bus:

A tinned copper ground bus size shall be of 30X6 mm2 for fault current up-to 31.5KA & 50x6 mm2 for
fault level above 31.5KA and shall extend full length of the switchboard. The ground bus shall be
provided with GI bolts & nuts at each end to connect the plant earth grid through GI flats.

All stationary structures and non-current carrying parts shall be directly connected to the ground bus for
effective grounding. All doors & movable parts shall be connected to the earth bus with flexible braided
copper connection.

23 Painting and Name Plating:

All metal surfaces shall be thoroughly cleaned and degreased to remove mill scale, rust, grease and
dirt. Fabricated structures shall be pickled and then rinsed to remove any trace of acid. The under
surface shall be prepared by applying a coat of phosphate paint and a coat of yellow zinc chromate
primer.

The under surface shall be made free from all imperfections before undertaking the finishing coat. After
preparation of the under surface, the switchboard shall be spray painted with two coats of epoxy based
final paint or shall be powder coated. Colour shade of final paint shall be 631 as per IS: 5 or RAL 7032,
unless otherwise specified.

The finished panels shall be dried in stoving ovens in dust free atmosphere. Panel finish shall be free
from imperfections like pinholes, orange peels, runoff paint etc. All unpainted steel parts shall be zinc
passivated or cadmium plated or suitably treated to prevent rust formation. If these parts are moving
elements then they shall be greased.

Tagging and name plating shall be done as per relevant code. Name plate shall be provided for each
equipment (lamps, PBs, switches, relays etc.), breaker, outgoing feeders/panels etc. mounted on the
front of the switchboard. Special warning plates shall be provided on all removable covers or doors
giving access to live cables /bus bars. Special warning label shall be provided inside the switchboard.

Engraved nameplates shall preferably be of 3-ply (Black-White-Black) lamicoid sheets or anodised


aluminium. However back engraved Perspex sheet nameplates may also be acceptable. Nameplates
shall be fastened by screws and not by adhesives.

24 Tropical Protection:

All equipment, accessories and wiring shall have fungus protection, involving special treatment of
insulation and metal against fungus, insects & corrosion. Screens of corrosion resistant materials shall
be furnished on all ventilating louvers to prevent the entrance of insects.

IV INSPECTION & TESTING

Inspection & testing shall be following the criteria mentioned under “Quality Assurance Plan” specified in bid
package. All equipment shall be completely assembled, wired, adjusted and tested at the factory as per the
relevant standards. All routine tests to verify the complete operation, logic and safety standards as
mentioned in this specification and according to the relevant IS standards/ codes shall be carried out for this
M.V. Switchboard.

Switchboard is to be type tested by CPRI for the rated fault level. Copies of the type test certificates for the
switch gear panel and circuit breakers shall be furnished for review.

V DRAWINGS & DOCUMENTS

Contractor shall submit the following as a minimum to the company:

1 General arrangement drawing showing constructional features, space required in front for withdrawals,
power & control cable entry points etc.

2 Foundation plan.

3 Installation and mounting details.

4 Single line diagram.

5 Control schematic and circuit diagram showing every device, terminal and wire no.

6 Bill of materials with makes.

7 Filled in data sheet.

8 Technical particulars of circuit breakers.

9 Copies of certificates for all type tests for all individual components.

10 Copies of certificates for all routine and functional tests for panel.

11 Catalogue and brochures

Manufacturer shall submit for purchaser’s approval the general arrangement drawing base frame details,
filled-in data sheet, schematic and circuit diagrams. Purchaser’s approval of GA drawing, schematic, logic
and circuit diagram showing every device, terminal and wire number is required before the fabrication of the
panel is started. Purchaser’s approval of contractor drawings and certifying test results shall not relieve the
manufacturer of his responsibility for supplying equipment conforming to relevant standards or for any
mistake, omission or commission in manufacturer’s drawings.

Operation & instruction manuals along with documents as mentioned above are to be handed over to
purchaser at the time of handing over.
