When
Launch This launch will take place on Monday, January
27th at 10am ET.
Overview Where
Available only to those artists in the private
Canvas beta, the share function can be accessed
from the from the Spotify for Artists iOS app. We’ll
have Android sharing available shortly thereafter.

How
In the S4A Mobile app on iOS, under the “Profile”
tab on the far right, you’ll see a share icon next to
each of your track releases.
Tap on the share icon to enable the share out from
the S4A app directly into your Instagram Stories
account.

Who can share Canvas artwork?

FAQs Currently, only artist accounts that have uploaded Canvas artwork
onto S4A will have the ability to share. While Spotify users will not
currently be able to share moving Canvas, our long term vision is to
open this up for Spotify users as well.

Why are you enabling this feature for Canvas?

The moving Canvas format on mobile is perfectly suited for the Stories
platform. We also want to provide creators with the ability to
seamlessly share engaging content from Spotify to drive engagement
with their fans. Moreover, we see a trend on social moving towards
more interactive and animated content, which Canvas is a perfect fit
for.

Can I share Canvas artwork on pre-releases?

No, Canvas can only be shared to Stories if your track has already
been released publicly.
