Dear Students,

As you are aware that Summer Term for the Academic Year 2022-23 is scheduled to start from
Thursday, June 01, 2023 and ends on Friday, July 28, 2023. List of Courses to be offered in Summer
Term has been finalized based on the responses received from students and the same is given in
the attachment.

A student can register in not more than two courses in Summer Term. Students may please note
that the fee for Summer Term courses must be deposited between May 11 – 18, 2023.

The class work will start from June 01, 2023 as per the time table which will be announced in due
course.

Students who expect an E grade or NC report in the current semester courses and the students
who are already carrying more than three E grades or NC reports or any backlog course are
strongly advised to register in those courses, if those courses are in the list of Summer Term
courses.

Students who have already secured 3 E grades, may avail of this opportunity to reduce the no. of
E grades as a precaution for future.

Students who have lower than ‘C’ grade in the courses being offered in Summer Term and are
desirous of improving their grade can also give their names for Summer Term.

Please be informed that the courses of Jan-May Semester will not be available in Aug-Dec
Semester. Also, it would not always be possible to accommodate repeat/backlog course
registration in the timetable of the regular semester starting August, 2023. Therefore, it is
important that the repeat courses are completed in Summer Term.

 All of the above students who are desirous to register in Summer Term are requested register for
Summer Term through your Nucleus account and pay the fees by May 18, 2023. Process for
registration is given in the attachment.

Students of 2022 batch who were given less than six courses do not have to register through Nucleus as
per the above process, they are only required to pay the Hostel fees through Nucleus account. Refer to
earlier communication NU/DAA/1971/2022-23/80 dated April 12, 2023. List of such students is given in
the attachment.

If the number of students in a particular course in less than the critical, course may be cancelled.
