In the SAP System, the information units used to enter master data are called
infotypes .
Hire.
Change Organizational Unit/Position.
Change of Pay.
Transfer.
Terminate.

The Time Recording Information infotype (0050) is used only if employee time
data is evaluated using Time Evaluation . You use it to enter master data that is
relevant for time postings made using time recording terminals and control data
for time evaluation.

Shift planning (or “scheduling”) is the act of scheduling employees to work certain
jobs during certain periods of time.
Shift planning is the process of scheduling your employee’s work hours in line
with the work that needs to be done and the hours required to complete this

Counting rule is defined as a rule for counting attendances and absences. The
rules are used to determine the payroll days and hours for an attendance or
absence. The payroll days and hours that have been counted are used to control
the deduction of quotas.
