(in direct Contact with skin) with regard to formaldehyde without afterwashing (less than 75 ppm according to LAW 112), However, the finished textile must in all cases be tested according to the specifications of Oko-Tex Standard 100, Application Technique Diluting Instructions REAKNITT EC can be diluted with cold water at any ratio. Recommendation for Use Crystalline magnesium chloride (MgCl x 6 HzO) is particularly suitable to be used as a catalyst for REAKNITT EC. We recommend using 20 - 25% of magnesium chloride cryst. calculated on the quantity of the resin, but at least 8 gf. The maximum concentration is limited to 30 gf. ‘As altemative to magnesium chloride cryst. we recommend CHT-CATALYST FS which is an already formulated product. Applying this product the formaldehyde values according to LAW 112 are clearly reduced on the textile in comparison to the usual catalyst with magnesium chloride. The application concentration is approx. 30 ~ 35% referring fo the quantity of REAKNITT EC. The minimum/maximum quantity is 15/35 g/l. Anyhow, preliminary tests are recommended to balance between the easy care effects and the strength loss. Because the degree of whiteness or the colour shade may be impaired, we recommend carrying out pretrials when working with white and pastel shades. ‘The pH value of the ready finishing liquor should be between 4.0 and 6.5, Alkaline fabrics should be adjusted to a ‘woak acid pH value prior to finishing, Recipe Proposals co: 30 - 6091 —_REAKNITT EC cv: 60 - 90g —REAKNITTEC PESICO: 20- 60g REAKNITT EC PEsiCy: 40 - 80g REAKNITTEC Scanned with CamScanner Standard Recipes ‘Shitting fabric made of cotton ri 35.0 - 60.0 8.0 - 120 10.0 - 200 20.0 - 40.0 10 - 20 os - 1.0 Liquor pick-up: Bath temperature: gf gh gil gf gil gl CHT smart chewstm WHT CHARACTER.
