persona y un doctor. Describe un problema de salud menor, puedes usar como

ejemplo los presentados en las actividades 1.2 y 1.3

busca en el diccionario las palabras que no conoces

1.2 Presentation Estudia cuidadosamente las siguientes expresiones y vocabulario referido a

problemas de salud.Graba en tu dispositivo el diálogo y traduce al español las palabras que no
conoces.

1.3 Practice Reordena el siguiente dialogo entre una paciente y su doctor, coloca la letra
respectiva en el cuadro de abajo.

a. Rose: I feel awful. I’ve got temperature.

b. DOCTOR: let me see. You’ve got the flu. I am giving you injections for 3 days, a cough syrup and
pills.

c. Rose: My throat is also sore, and I cough a lot.

d. DOCTOR: Good morning, Rose. What’s the matter with you?

e. Rose: How many pills should I take a day?

f. DOCTOR: Let me check your fever. It’s almost 40°C.

g. Rose: Good morning, doctor! My name is Rose

h. DOCTOR: Three. Take one after each meal. You should rest in bed for 2 days and have warm
drinks.

Doctor: Good morning. What seems to be the problem?

Bob: I feel awful. I think I have the flu.
Doctor: Do you have a runny nose?
Bob: Yes, I do. And a sore throat.
Doctor: Can I take a look? Open your mouth, please.
Bob: Sure.
Doctor: Yes, it looks like you have some swelling back there. Have
you been coughing?
Bob: Yes, all night.
Doctor: Let me check your temperature too. You have a fever?
Bob: I don't think so. Not bad, at least.
Doctor: Okay. His temperature seems to be more or less normal.
Take a cold medicine and rest for a couple of days. You'll be fine.
