What words, concepts, ideas, etc. come to mind when you hear the following words?

Politics:

The activities of governments concerning the political relations between countries and
the people around it. Politics also concern to the authoritative decisions by individuals,
groups or institutions to formulate and implement laws.

Power:

Is a formal authority vested in his/her expertise and reputation for competence to rule
and It also a capacity or ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course
of event. Power also is a status by focusing on pursuing a broad range and particular
types of policy interest.

Comparative Politics:

Often involves comparisons among countries and through time within single countries,
emphasizing key patterns of similarity and difference. It is also not defined by the object
of its study, but rather by the method applies to the study of political phenomena.

Method:

Orderliness of thought or behavior

The orderliness of thought or behavior is important for us in helping to make decisions


and carry out many task automatically. Sometimes, we become aware of our thoughts to
compose or to remember a specific event, or do a specific task, like writing, learn to
speak in other language etc. for improvement.
Compare:

The differences of similarity and dissimilarity is a tendency in comparative empirical


research has been to privilege the former while neglecting the latter. The difference
between similarity and dissimilarity has something to do with the disciplinary focus in
independent and dependent variables. Similarities proposes a particular or a strong role
for descriptive analysis, cross-temporal explanation, and different systems, while
dissimilarities is dealing with graph and selection of the most striking configurations for
comparisons.

Theory:

A set of principles on which practice of an activity is based and explores effect of political
experience on the process of theory. It also helps to clarify questions as the surrounding
evolves towards modern period, to give reflections in the groups changing conception in
a relation to the theory of practice today.

Authority:

It is a power to command or to influence others especially because of one’s commanding


manner or one’s recognized knowledge about something. It is also the ability to assert
one’s will over others forcing the people to act accordance to the law in which the source
of power centers around to the person who holds the position.

Normative and Empirical comparison:

Normative comparisons are certain norms and values that are relevant to all societies at
all-time such as idea and prescription, value oriented approach, institutional and legal
approach, while empirical comparisons models and requires sources of data that are not
easily available as data that would restrict this studies in the social sciences, which can
and do compare practices with empirically intensive principles.
