cable buliding basic

the standard we use T568B is more commonly used for telecommunication

installations. because Under TIA/EIA-568-B, maximum allowable horizontal cable
distance is 90 meters of installed twisted-pair cabling, with 100 meters of maximum total
length including patch cords. No patch cord should be longer than 5 meters.

building a cable

1.Strip about 1 inch of cable housing off of each end of a section of CAT 5 cable.

2.Align the individual wires in the correct pattern according to the T568B standard.

3.Trim the individual cable straight across until only about ½” of each cable remains

4.Insert the cable ends into the connector.

5.Check the alignment of the individual cables to determine if the color pattern is in
accordancewith the standard.

6.Crimp the connector ends using the cable-end crimping tool.

7.Pull on the cable to determine that the connectors are firmly crimped. Crimp loose
ends again ifnecessary.

8.Have your instructor test your cable to determine if it functions properly.

cable stretch

drilled through the floor to reach your Internet equipment, feed the cable through the
outlet opening and down into the lower level. If you’ve drilled up through the ceiling, it
will make more sense to start at your networking center and guide the cable down a
level to the location of the jack. In other words, always work from top to bottom.

Avoid running the cable too close to electrical lines, water pipes, or other fixtures hidden
behind your walls or beneath your floor. If for some reason you have no choice but to
cross an electrical line, do it perpendicularly at a single point to reduce potential
electrical interference.

finaly steep cross the raq and swich

then after dril the wall in four basic parts and attach the raq in the wall bay using screew
driver

and take it all hardly arrest the raq and screew

then put the switch then plug all rj45 cable into the switch

but configuration is still on monday
