STEVE AND JACK´S SCHOOL
Steve and Jack are 14 years old and they are also in the 8th grade. They attended Queen
Victory Comprehensive School, a big old School in London with 2 200 students and 190
teachers.
Steve and Jack are in the same class. Their school day begins with the assembly at 08:45
AM. Their lessons begins at 09:00 AM and finish at 04:00 PM. They have 9 (nine) subjects.
Physical Education is their favourite, but Steve also likes Chemistry a lot. Jack finds it
interesting, but likes Geography better.
Steve and Jack don’t like their school very much. Everything is so old and unattractive.
The gymnasiun is badly equipped and there is never warm water in the showers. The classrooms
are tidy, but the chairs are very unconfortable.
The facilities they like best are the sports, fields and the library. They have both joined
the sport club and they love the games between schools.

The most important meal of the day, people say, is the breakfast. The name reveals it’s
importance. By eating breakfast you are breaking the fast of no eating since dinner.

It is always necessary to have a good breakfast because it gives you energy; so you can not
go to school or begin a day work without having breakfast. What you eat is important too. You
must eat foods that provide you energy, fiber and proteins.
