A. Read the blog posts below about what other teens like doing.

Pete in Los Angeles I am an animal-loving person. The aquatic creatures at the Santa
Monica Pier Aquarium is awesome especially the exhibits of the vast array of sea life found in the
Pacific Ocean. Nearby is the L.A. Zoo in Griffith Park, which I often go to. There are over 1000
many different creatures from around the globe, in addition to thousands of different plants in
the Botanical Gardens, which is why I enjoy hanging out here.

Shelly in Kansas Getting a summer job is important as I can get some extra cash. I cut grass
for people, wash cars and even babysit. My sister does some dog walking. Some people like
taking photographs and selling them, or working at a coffee shop. That sounds a lot of fun as I
bet they get to meet a lot of people.

Yvette in South Africa Most Afrikaans-speaking people are rugby crazy, while the Afrikaans
and English-speaking people are serious soccer fans. I prefer rugby. Most schools stick to this,
whereas Afrikaans-speaking schools provide rugby and netball, and English schools offer soccer
and netball. I also enjoy water sports and hiking, especially with my friends.

Airi in Tokyo I love going to Tsukiji Fish Market with my mother. This market is tremendous.
It is filled with so many things to eat, see and do. I go there every weekend and I still find new
things to see. I eat a lot of sushi and in my opinion, this is the best place for the freshest fish in
the world. There are also all kinds of tasty treats, from samples of juices, towering shaved ice to
tasty coffee treats. The best part of being here is always watching the fishmongers skilfully carve
tuna.

Ru Ming in Singapore My friends and I hang out at Siloso all the time. We play volleyball,
take banana rides and love hanging out at the many restaurants that serve snacks and
beverages. There is also dancing, canoeing and horse riding and of course, lots of swimming, I
love it here.

Dalir in Pakistan We live quite close to the Hingol National Park. In fact, my father works as
a guide there. I always accompany him when he has a tour group with teenagers and children. I
enjoy the park very much. At first, it looks really dry but there are some interesting rock
formations that everyone is always impressed with. My favourite spot is visiting the mud volcano
there and trying to find the Ibex, an animal local to the area.
