WORK RULES

FOR THE CLASS


1. Prepare for the class
• Prepare full equipment before teaching: laptop, headset, internet connection, and neat outfits. •
• Have backup devices in case of power or internet interruption.
• Prepare lessons before the class.
2. For the convenience of managing teacher’s system, we would like to ask you to change your Skype
name based on the syntax :
TEACHER_NAME _ COMPANY NAME
3. Time for the class
• Call the student on time
• In case the teacher could not contact the student (call student at least 3 times) , the Teacher has
to notify the class manager (through skype CA – English) immediately. The admin then
proceeds to make the class statement for the student's absence or being late in the class. If the
student is late for a regular class, the teacher just needs to continue with the call to the
prescribed time
• In trial class, we encouraged the teacher to teach a full 20 mins class even though the student
was late for the class. The extra time will be calculated for the teacher.
4. In the class
• Use lesson outlines for the class
• Record the class if it’s on Skype
• Correct/fix student’s pronunciation, grammar, sentence structure
• Give writing homework after EVERY class (Regular class)
In case of student does not want to assign homework, please report it to the class admin

5. After the class


• Submit the assessment for TRIAL classes and the attendance sheet for daily report as well as
timekeeping
• Teachers need to finish all the assessment and attendance sheets on time (during 2 hours after the trial).
If the teacher did not finish on time, there will be a penalty … for the late submission.
• The monthly and end term evaluation need to finish on time (the deadline will be announced from
the we ENGLISH), there will be a penalty … for the late

FOR BEING LATE OR ABSENCES OF STUDENT

1. The class admin is responsible for notifying the teacher if the student is late or absent.
2. In case the student informs the teacher about being late or absent, the teacher has to inform the class
admin (Skype HR or CM) about that.
3. The class will be counted for the teacher if the notification of the student is late less than 1 hour
before the class. The class will not be counted if the notification is on time.

FOR BEING LATE OR ABSENCES OF TEACHER


1. Being late
• The teacher has to inform the class admin at least 2 hours before the class starts about being
late.
• If there is no notification from the teacher for being late or absent less than 2 hours, the teacher
will get a penalty of …/for regular class
2. Absences
• To be absent for 1 session, the teacher has to inform the Manager at least 6 hours in advance

• To take a leave for 1 day, the teacher has to inform and submit the request letter of absence to
the Manager 48 hours in advance and wait for the approval.
• To take a leave for 2 consecutive days, the teacher has to inform and submit the request letter
of absence to the Manager 1 week in advance and wait for the approval.
• To take a leave for 3 days or more, the teacher has to inform and submit the request letter
of absence to the Manager 1 month in advance and wait for the approval.
If the teacher is absent for 1 session without informing beforehand, the teacher will get a Penalty
Double for the class and get a penalty of …/class for notifying late less than 6 hours.

In case the teacher takes a leave although it’s not approved yet, the teacher will get a penalty for
that

• The First time: …/day-off


• The Second time: …/day-off with Warning email.
• The Third time: Consider to end the contract

FOR EMERGENCY CASES


1. If there's an unexpected accident such as: a power outage, a computer problem, etc, the teacher has
to inform and show proof of the problem to the class admin immediately.

If no proof:

- Teacher will get a Penalty of …


- Teacher will have to give a make-up class for the student without being payed
2. If any of these happen during the class, the class will not be counted for the teacher. The teacher
will have to give a make-up class for the student.

TEACHER ATTENDANCE
1. Full-times teachers must not be absent for more than 6 sessions/a month
2. Part-time teachers must not be absent for more than 3 sessions/a month
3. Violation will be deducted …/a session

CHANGING SCHEDULE OR END THE CONTRACT


1. The teacher has to inform the Manager about a closing schedule or an opening schedule at least 1
week in advance.
2. In case of resignation, the teacher has to inform the Manager and send an email for resignation 1
month in advance.
3. If the teacher insists on quitting immediately or less than 1 month, the teacher cannot receive the
salary.

POLICY

FOR PAYDAY
Salary will be paid once a month:
1. Payment: The salary is finalized from 1th to 31st next month and paid on the 10th of the
month.
2. Commit not to delay salary. If it's late due to errors from the company and there is no notice
about being late for the payment, the company will commit to paying …/ for each late day
3. In case of a specific error from the wrong bank account number (there is evidence proving
that it is not late from the company side) the company will not pay for the late payment.
4. In the case of holidays in the Philippines, the company will notify the late salary (if any).

FOR THE RAISE


Applied for the teacher who has been as our teacher 1 year and above:
1. The raise will be considered annually
2. The increasing salary will be considered on the 28th of February annually and the new salary will be
applied from March of the same year.
Conditions for increasing salary:
1. Has perfect attendance or absence less than 5% of the total number of sessions each month.
2. Submit the assessment, the evaluation and the attendance sheet on time and meet the company’s
standard
3. Good feedback from students/parents.
4. Recommends another teacher officially working with the Company

FOR HOLIDAYS
1. The teacher is asked to follow The National Regular Holidays of Vietnam. The Company will
announce to all Teachers one week in advance. However, the teacher is allowed to take The National
Regular Holidays of the Philippines as Christmas Day, New Year’s Day.
2. If the teacher wants to take other holidays as The National Regular Holidays of the Philippines, the
teacher has to inform the Manager as taking a leave.

FOR YEARLY BONUS

1. Depending on the business conditions of each year, the Company will have different bonus levels,
from … to … and will be paid in January of the following year (will be considered for the incentive
of achievement based on the attendance and the proportion of time that actually has worked at the
Company).

SPECIAL
1. The teacher with excellent achievements, long-term, students’ compliments, etc, has the opportunity
to be invited to travel or work at the center in Cambodia or Vietnam with higher income.
2. Terminate the contract immediately and will not receive a salary if the teacher intends to invite
students to change to the private class with that or another teacher. Detract students, staff, and
companies in the classroom or on social networks.

ABOUT THE WARNING


Applied after 3 times reminding for those cases:
1. The teacher leaves the class before the scheduled time without permission.
2. The teacher does not teach according to the outline that was trained without permission.
3. The teacher is late for the class.
4. Submit late the assessment, the evaluation, the attendance sheet or other the Company’s evaluation
required.
5. The teacher will be deducted 10% of the total amount received in the month if the teacher receives
the 2nd warning email
The contract will be considered to end for 3rd warning email
