TEACHERS’ ROADMAP CONFERENCE

The Teachers’ Roadmap Conference is the realization of the fact that there is an immense gap between
educational institutions and the teaching faculty due to which teachers are unable to land jobs according to
their aptitude and attitude this, thus creates disharmony among them and ultimately it is the education
system that suffers.
Through this Teachers’ Roadmap Conference, we aim to bring the managements and faculty on one platform
where not only the management can hunt for the best talent but the teaching faculty can also avail multiple
employment options under one roof.
This conference will focus on the following;
Training the teaching faculty in a manner that equips them with the necessary skills required to
secure a good employment opportunity.
Provide open employment opportunities by bringing a wide range of educational institutions under
one roof.
Provide educational institutions with a wide array of talent which may assist them for high quality
recruitment.

OBJECTIVES

Overall this activity seeks to develop stronger ties between the stakeholders of education by eradicating the
gap between the educational institutions and teaching faculty by bringing them under one roof. In all
actuality, this initiative also seeks to provide the teaching faculty with a proper training before the process
of induction begins. This pre-induction training is designed such that it facilitates the process of induction
and increases employability chances.

Expected Reach: Teachers Roadmap Conference 2018 aims to target around 250 teachers for training
(day 1) and 2000+ candidates for open job fair (day 2) with diverse backgrounds and experience.

Day 2 of the Teachers Roadmap Conference allows candidates and educational institutions to have face
to face interviews to determine if there is mutual interest and a good fit between and educational institute

ANNEXURE

EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION JOB FAIR PARTICIPATION FORM

For Participating Educational Institution, they are required to submit information for Job Fair
Directory on following format:
• School Logo
• Website
• Company Name
• Brief Background
Should include a brief history from inception to date which includes numbers of years the school
has been functional, # of branches, education system (Matric / Cambridge) being followed etc.
• Locations of schools
• Job Openings
Job Opening should be mentioned as given in the example
Grade I Home Teacher:
Qualification: Should at least be a Bachelors, B.Ed degree is preferred.
The Home Teacher will be responsible for imparting knowledge in the major subject areas like
English, Math and Science. The teacher will also be responsible for additional duties like class
beautification through soft board making, maintaining student records, assessing students and
compiling results.

This process should be followed for all available vacancies which include academic and non-
academic staff both. Each school should cater at least 25 interviews for their required job openings.
