Merry Phoenix Party Tiktok Dance Battle

(A Virtual Dance Battle for a Cause)


 
RULES AND GUIDELINES
1. The contest is open to all Phoenix Graders families and learners of Hua Siong College of Iloilo.
2. Each class section will send representatives for the said contest.
3. Each group must have a minimum of six (6) and maximum of ten (10) members. A group must
contain kids, parents, or any family relatives.
4. The competing groups will create their own choreography video based on the music of their choice. 
5. The video should revolve around the theme: “Merry Phoenix Party”. It could be one or a
combination of music. 
6. Each competing group will create their own group name. They must wear the Official Christmas
party t-shirt and may use improvised props for the said presentation.
7. Each competing group will create a minimum of two (2) and maximum of three (3) minute videos of
their dances. A deduction of 1 point in the final scoring will be deducted for every 15-seconds
exceeding in the video.
8. Music that contains vulgar words is not allowed.
9. All entries must be submitted to this email: jaleaclaracion@huasiong.edu.ph, on or before December
8, 2022, Thursday at 3:00 PM. Failure to pass on the said deadline will get a deduction of 2 points per
judge.
10. The decision of the judges will be final and binding under all circumstances.

RULES AND GUIDELINES
Ma’am Jen, Cher KZ, and Cher Zarvie
Before the Game
1. The game is open to all Phoenix graders families and learners of Hua Siong College of Iloilo.
2. Only players who have purchased the B-I-N-G-O cards can join the game.
3. Each player will be provided with bingo card/s based on their number of their purchase/s and
authorized by the Phoenix graders department.
4. A purchaser of a package worth ₱400.00 will receive a Christmas Party t-shirt, five (5) B-I-N-G-O
cards which are good for five (5) game sets, and a photo booth ticket. Additional of a bingo card
worth P50 each. For more chances of winning, players are allowed to buy more than one (1) card.
5. Players use cards that feature five columns of five squares each, with every square containing a
number (except the middle square, which is designated a "FREE" space). The columns are labeled
"B" (numbers 1–15), "I" (numbers 16–30), "N" (numbers 31–45), "G" (numbers 46–60), and "O"
(numbers 61–75) respectively at random. Each column will have 5 rows.
6. Players can only play one (1) B-I-N-G-O card for each game.

During the Game


1. During the game, players will play B-I-N-G-O in the school Gym, HSCI Ledesco Campus where the
bingo caller will announce the numbers.
2. There will be 5 game sets. During the game, the bingo caller will show a pattern each round and the
first one to come up with the given pattern wins the game.
3. Under the B, I, N, G, O columns are numbers from 1-15, 16-30, 31-45, 46-60, 61-75 respectively at
random. Each column will have 5 rows with 5 numbers only except the middle column with middle
square designated a "FREE" space. 
4. The bingo caller will draw random numbers. Drawing numbers will be done manually.
5. Players will mark all the called-out numbers in their card(s) until they have formed the specific
pattern.
6. Each set has a different pattern to be completed. When restarting a new game after somebody is
declared a winner, the players will choose another card to play another game set.
7. If the player is lucky enough to fill out the pattern on his/her BINGO card first, he or she shall shout
"BINGO.
8. In case a card has a complete pattern and after 10 seconds the owner of the card did not notify of
his/her winning, the card will be forfeited and the game will continue.
9. The committee will check and verify if the player(s) has/have completed the pattern based on the
numbers announced and flashed on the screen. To confirm the winning card, the player shall present
his/her card as a proof in claiming the prize after verification.
10. If a tie between players occurs, we will call out another number, and if whose card contains the
tiebreaker number will be considered the winner.

RULES AND GUIDELINES

Newspaper Stop Dance-Ma’am Au, Sir Jale and Andrei Dema-ala


1. The game is open to all Phoenix Graders’ parents or couples of Hua Siong College of Iloilo.
2. Each group must have 2 team members only.
3. Each group will be provided with one whole page of a newspaper to be used during the game. The
group will lay the newspaper on the floor and surround it.
4. The host will be playing lively music and each team must dance. Once the host pauses the music,
each group must step into the newspaper and keep still and if one of the team members stumbled or
stepped out of the newspaper, the group would be out of the game.
5. You can get out of the newspaper and start dancing once the host plays the music again.
6. The host will play the music again and each group must fold their newspaper into half, same rules
apply, dance, while the music is playing, step into the newspaper and keep still if it is paused making
sure that you or your other team member will not stumble or step out of the newspaper or your team
will be out of the game.
7. Continue playing until the newspaper gets smaller from folding and until one of the groups has
remained standing and shall be declared as the winner of the game.

Tug of War – Sir Sanico, Ma’am Frial and Vian Villa


1. The game is open to all Phoenix Graders’ parents (mommies and daddies) of Hua Siong College of
Iloilo.
2. There will be two (2) sets of categories: Mom and Dad categories and children category.
3. Each grade level must have a team with 10 mom/dad players only.
4. A referee will officiate the game.
5. First two (2) teams will compete against each other. To play the game, the center of the rope should
align with the center marked on the ground. As soon as the referee says “Go!”, each team on both
ends of the cloth tries to pull the other team across the ground marker. When the first member of a
team crosses the line, the game is over and the opposite team wins.
6. The team that gets pulled over the ground marker for two times will be the loser.

Family of 3 Sack Race-Ma’am Olive, Sir Justin and Job Matthew Lustria
1. The game is open to all Phoenix Graders’ parents and learners of Hua Siong College of Iloilo.
2. 15 players will be playing per team: 5-kids, 5-dad and 5-mom.
3. Each group of players needs to jump from starting point to the finish line.
4. The first team to finish the game will be the winner.

Mother goes to the Market – Cher Zarvie, Maam Camile, and Kurt Matthew Sanico
1. The game is open to all Phoenix Graders’ Moms of Hua Siong College of Iloilo.
2. Each group must have a team with 10 members only.
3. Each team will be provided with the following materials: a basket, fan, “bandana” (handkerchief), a
pair of sandals, and “patadyong” (wraparound skirt).
4. Each player will dress up using the provided materials and must walk glamorously from the starting
line to the finish line.
5. The first team who will finish the game will be declared the winner.

Balloon Popping-Sir Jake, Cher Analyn and Wyly Pamorca


1. The game is open to all Phoenix Graders of Hua Siong College of Iloilo.
2. There will be two (2) game levels. Level one (1) are the grades 1-3 learners and level two (2) are the
grades 4-6 learners.
3. Each team must have a team with 10 members only.
4. Each player is given a balloon and each team has a chair positioned a few meters away from the
starting line.
5. As soon as the go signal is given, the first player of the team runs to the chair, sits on it to pop the
balloon, and returns to the team so the next players can take their turn.
6. The first team to pop all their balloons is declared as the winner.
