GENERAL
1.Wear university peer shirt or unified colored shirt (for those who do not have peer shirt).
Paired with jogging pants or long leggings.
2.Bring vaccination card, school ID, extra shirt, personal first aid kit, hygiene, own trash bags,
and other personal needs.
3. DO NOT forget your signed and completed waiver before going to the event. Refer to
POP’s email, Re: Peer Olympics Guidelines, for the complete instructions. Waivers
should be submitted on January 25, 2024, until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday. Upload

4. Meals and transportation are not provided. But participants can opt to purchase foods from
the food stalls found at the venue.
5.Teams bringing in their own lunch packs are requested to refrain from using
styropor/plastic. Please bring your own tumblers for water.
6.Teams with their own vehicles should provide the organizers with the model, plate number
and color on or before January 20, or ASAP as indicated in the invitation letter. You can enter
the MOL main entrance upon arrival.
7. For solo travelers/commuters, drop off point will be outside the school premises. Vehicles
not included in the confirmation list are not allowed to enter.
8.During the event, the First Aid station will also be on stand by at the grandstand. Any player
who wish to be checked and/or in need of first aid can go directly to the first aid station.
9.The tournament organizers will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by a team
participating. Bags can stay at the grandstand during games, provided that the school will
make sure to be responsible of their own belongings. Please bring gloves for games involving
ropes.
10.During lunch, the host will let everyone use the gymnasium. Make sure to not leave any
trash after.
11.The tournament organizers reserve the right to decide on all matters pertaining to the event.
12.Use of foul or offensive words, chants, yells, and acts are not allowed. Demerits will be
accordingly applied or recorded in the overall team score.

TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES
Team Size & Formation
1.Teams may comprise of mixed males/females/LGBT to a maximum of 20-30
participants.
2.Teams will create yell after groupings and will be guided by assigned game master.
3.The team captain was already assigned, and he or she will be the sole coordinator
with the tournament officials. As a teambuilding practice, the team captain and co-
captains are the recognized team leaders.
4.Team captains must have two (2) co-captains and each co-captain must have one
deputy co-captain.
5.Each co-captain will be tasked to coordinate directly from the captain and the deputy
co-captain should assist in organizing the players for each event.
6.The co-captain and the deputy are responsible for selecting the players for each
event. They are responsible for the team’s final line up.
7.Team captains, co-captains and deputies should prepare the players for the game,
cascade the game mechanics, ensure that players arrive on time during the event and
be on tract during the match.
Game Mechanics
1.Some games will be held simultaneously, so that teams may enjoy watching their
fellow players play.
2.For relay races, all teams will be completing at the same time.
3.For dual matches, two teams at a time will compete, with competing teams
determined by draw lots.
4.For single competition, each team will perform one time after the other, with other
teams waiting for them for their turn.
5.Each team shall have one (1) game marshal who will be the team’s official scorer
and timer. He will also guide the team captains on the game mechanics and
tournament process.

Team/Players Responsibility
Scoring will be standardized for all games. After each game, team scores
will be totaled then rank from highest to lowest (1st to last team) and will
be given scores from 10-100 with 100 being the highest.

Team Responsibility
1. Team Captains must ensure that all his/her players are fit to participate in
the tournament. Team Captains must submit a waiver signed by all players.
2. Teams are allowed a grace period of 15 minutes from the start of the
program. A minimum number of 10 players present shall constitute a team.
3. Teams who arrived later that 15 minutes shall forfeit playing the first
event. Teams who arrived after 30 minutes shall forfeit their right to
participate.
4. Teams are requested to bring three (3) pieces of XXXL garbage bags.
5. Teams are expected to maintain the cleanliness of the game area and
practice clean as you go (CLAYGO).

Player Responsibility
1. Players are expected to always behave in sportsmanlike fashion during
the games.
2. Players must wear the prescribed colored coded bands or team colors.
3. Players are discouraged to wear shorts, and should have the proper
footwear appropriate for the games.
4. Players are requested to bring their own water bottles.
5. Tournament organizers will not be responsible for any loss of personal
items. Best that locks are provided for your backpacks/bags.

Cheers and Yells Guidelines
1. Yells and Cheers must always promote the team they represent.
2. The Chant should be relevant to the theme or make sure they go with
the idea of Olympics.
3. Loudness and clearness of the words is encouraged.
4. Profanity and other inappropriate language are strictly prohibited.

INTERRUPTION OF PERFORMANCE
1. In the event performance is interrupted because of technical reasons
caused by the event equipment, facilities, etc. the team shall be given the
option to either resume the performance from where it stopped or repeat
their entire performance.
2. In the event performance is interrupted because of failure of team’s
own equipment supplies, props, acts or any of the same kind, the team
either continues the performance or withdraws from the competition.
3. In the event of injury, the team will be given the authority to decide
whether to continue the performance or not.
4. The committee shall not be responsible for any accident that could
happen during the performance.
