Technology has been changing over the years with various fields adopting technology to make their operations more efficient.
Healthcare has also adopted technology to enhance service delivery (Fischer et al., 2017, p. 138). Example of technology adopted by
healthcare includes Telehealth, which allows patients to remotely access healthcare services from the comfort of their home and
without necessarily traveling long distances to a healthcare facility. This however has challenged the conventional approach of face-
to-face visits in healthcare. Majority of healthcare workers believe in face-to-face visits, however, telehealth is a great opportunity to
improve nursing practice. This paper analyses four peer reviewed journals that support the adoption of telehealth in healthcare and the
impact this has on clinical outcomes, satisfaction of the patient with the services rendered, cost of care, readmission after 30 days,

better outcomes. The articles indicate that the patients who have used telehealth are contented with the services that are rendered and
they have shown significant improvement in their health. Research methodologies have been used to analyze reliability and validity of
the studies. This has shown that the information in the studies is reliable hence valid to support the clinical question.
