QUESTION 1 :-
Solar energy is a radiant light from the Sun
capable of producing heat, that is harnessed using a
range of technologies such as solar power to
generate electricity, solar thermal energy (including
solar water heating) . The total amount of solar
energy received on Earth is vastly more than the
world’s current and anticipated energy requirements.
It is an essential source of renewable energy, and
its technologies are broadly characterized as either
passive solar or active solar depending on how they
capture and distribute solar energy or convert it into
solar power. Active solar techniques include the use
of photovoltaic systems, concentrated solar power,
and solar water heating to harness the energy.
Passive solar techniques include orienting a building
to the Sun, selecting materials with favorable thermal
mass or light-dispersing properties, and designing
spaces that natural circulate air.
The large magnitude of solar energy available
makes it a highly appealing source of electricity.
QUESTION 2 :-
The development and utilization of solar energy will
not pollute the environment. It is one of the cleanest
energy sources, which is extremely valuable in
today's increasingly serious environmental pollution.
The solar radiation energy reaching the earth's
surface every year is equivalent to about 130 trillion
tons of coal, and its total amount is the largest energy
that can be developed in the world today.
Solar energy also has the least negative compared to
any other energy source. It does not produce
greenhouse gases and does not pollute the water.
QUESTION 3
Bright light intensifies emotions, regardless of
whether they are negative or positive. Low light
keeps our emotions steady, which means that people
tend to make better decisions in lower light, and find
it easier to agree and compromise when negotiating.
QUISTION 4
In 1802, Humphry Davy invented the first electric
light. He experimented with electricity and invented
an electric battery. When he connected wires to his
battery and a piece of carbon, the carbon glowed,
producing light. His invention was known as the
Electric Arc lamp
QUESTION 5
There would be no power to use your fridge or
freezer, telephone lines would be down and phone
signal lost. Your mobile phones will be useless as the
battery dwindles, with no back up charging option.
Your gas central heating won't work and your water
supply would soon stop pumping clean water.
QUESTION 6
Green energy is any energy type that is generated
from natural resources, such as sunlight, wind or
water. It often comes from renewable energy sources
although there are some differences between
renewable and green energy, which we will explore,
below.
