Rags2Riches is a profit social enterprise established in Manila, Philippines,

whose mission is to empower disadvantaged Filipinos, especially women, with income
prospects and market access through livelihood for the company's artisans and their
communities. Handmade items like Backpacks, Clothing, Clutches/Wallets, Crossbody
Bags, Fanny Packs, Home items, Totes, and Handbags manufactured in the company.
The leadership qualities she had shown to the people around her that made the
business go big were accountability, communication, empathy, humility, and vision.
Reese Fernandez-Ruiz, a social entrepreneur, has been uplifting communities
and exhibiting Filipino artistry for over a decade. Reese and her crew at Rags2Riches,
which is in its 13th year, continue to make eco-ethical designs out of up-cycled
materials and indigenous fabrics.
She showed the essential quality as a person who helped her social enterprise
