P1: Redesign of site for NGO: Wesaveanimals

WSA provides shelter for sick, old and abandoned dogs, cats, cows and every other animal. The
dogs are not chained or caged, they have enough space to walk, run, play and chase other dogs. At
the shelter, it is indeed a dog's life! There are only few cages in the shelter for those that are
undergoing treatment. Varcons Technologies Pvt Ltd maintains a very healthy relationship with its
clients , so when we were approached regarding the redesign of the site we were more than happy
to do so! And this is a value based project we want our interns to participate in this process as well,
The duty of a FSWD April Intern is to create the redesign site using the parameters described
below

Objectives:

The primary objectives of the website redesign project are as follows:

Improve user experience: We will create a user-friendly website that is easy to navigate, provides
clear information about the NGO's programs and impact, and encourages users to engage with the
organization.

Increase website traffic: By optimizing the website's design, content, and functionality for search
engines, we aim to increase the number of users visiting the website, as well as their time spent on
the site.

Improve engagement with donors: We will create an easy-to-use donation system that allows
donors to make contributions quickly and securely. In addition, we will showcase the NGO's
impact and programs through multimedia content, such as photos and videos, to encourage
donations.

Promote the NGO's mission and programs: The website will effectively communicate the NGO's
mission and programs, showcasing the organization's impact and achievements.

Target Audience:

The target audience for the website redesign includes the following:

Current and potential donors: The website should effectively communicate the NGO's impact and
programs, and provide an easy-to-use donation system to encourage contributions.

Volunteers and partners: The website should provide clear information on volunteer opportunities
and partnerships with the NGO.

General public: The website should be informative and engaging, and effectively communicate the
NGO's mission and programs.

Website Features:

The new website will include the following features:

A clear and intuitive navigation system that makes it easy for users to find the information they
need.
A responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes and devices.

An easy-to-use donation system that allows donors to make contributions quickly and securely.

Social media integration that allows users to share content from the website on social media
platforms.

Multimedia content, such as photos and videos, that showcase the NGO's impact and programs.

Design:

The design of the website will be modern, clean, and visually appealing. The color scheme to be
followed is the Indian Tricolour scheme and typography will reflect the NGO's brand identity and
values, and the website will feature high-quality images and multimedia content, details of which
shall be provided to you

The content of the website will be informative, engaging, and compelling, and will effectively
communicate the NGO's mission and programs. It will be optimized for search engines to improve
website traffic, and will include multimedia content that showcases the NGO's impact and
achievements.

TASKS to be Completed within 10 days and points list:

Important Note : Please note that you need to Earn a Minimum of 35 Points/Complete a
Minimum of one non mandatory task in order to be eligible toreceive a Certificate, Earn
more than 60 points, and your project shall be eligiblefor stipends and other processes.

1. Design a Figma Model for the Assigned Project - 15 Points

2. Design the Front End Part of the website(Use HTML,CSS) - 25 Points [Mandatorytask]
3. Design a working backend database where user data is to be stored - 25 Points
4. Design and Embed Functional features using JS or add conditional features to thesite
using JS - 20
5. Design a subscribe to email updates feature, and a place where the emailaddresses
are to be stored - 15 Points
Basic tools you will need:

For performing the examples discussed in this tutorial, you will need a Pentium
200-MHz computer with a minimum of 64 MB of RAM (128 MB of RAM recommended).
You will also need the following software −

● Linux 7.1 or Windows xp/7/8/10 or any operating system

● Any IDE(VS Code recommended)

Recommendations:
1. A thorough Theoretical analysis of the topic is required & recommended 2.

2. Use of VSCode is recommended (although the use of any other IDE is okay)
3. Use of Code Comments is highly recommended

Screenshots of Output (word format recommended), the sample report will be shared by the
HR team
