Youth as Kindlers of Peaceful Tomorrow
Everyone wished to live in a world of peace. A world of equitable armatures, respect for our human
rights, and an atmosphere of unity among diverse communities. Young people have the potential to
create a more peaceful world as what the noble hero of Philippine history once proclaimed, " youth is
the living hope of our nation".
Kindness is more powerful than violence.We will never end violence with violence. Wether it is a
war of words, a war between two individuals, or a war between two countries, violence does not bring
peace. Love has always been stronger than hate, even though hate is louder! God wants us to be happy
and live a peaceful life.
Through creative ideas and approaches, young people can help reduce violence and conflict in our
society. Creative problem-solving involves formulation of innovative solutions to problems that arise in
the society. It includes understanding of underlying proble, evaluating potential solutions, and using
creative thinking to arrive at the most effective and practical solution. Creative problem-solving also
encompasses analyzing of past experiences to determine what worked best in resolving similar
problems in the present.
Education and awareness raising are integral to creating a peaceful future. On a global level, education
should be tailored to impart knowledge on topics such as human rights, democrac, diversity, and other
areas related to global peace. On the local level, education can provide critical information about a
society's history and culture that can serve to counter stereotypes
