1. STARTING MS WORD:- Two ways of starting
MSWORD:- Double click on Microsoft word icon
on the desk top.
2. Click on start ->programs->MS office -> M.S word.

A menu bar is a graphical control element which contains
drop-down menus. There are total 9 menu like File, Edit,
View, Insert, Format, Tools, Table, Window, Help.

• New – Open new file
• Open – Open file .
• Save – Save documents
• Save as – Save file with different name,
location and file type.
• Print – Print the documents.
• Print preview -
• Page setup – We can set here page
orientation and page margins
• Exit - exit from application.

Page Orientation
• There are two types of page orientation.
1. Portrait – Lengthwise page is called Portrait.
2. Landscape – Widthwise page is called Landscape.
Page margins - Go to Layout > Margins,
select Margins, and then select Custom Margins. In the
Top, Bottom, Left, and Right boxes, set the margins that
you want, and then select Default.

Office clipboard – It is temporary space where you

Bookmarks - bookmark in MS Word is a specific word,
