1. Read Two English novels of your choice and do the following,

(a) Write down the summary of the novels in your words. (word limit 200 to 300)
(b) Describe two main characters of each novel in your words. (word limit 100 to
200)
(c) Write down 25 words and their meanings from each novel in English

2. Choose 5 comprehensions from past papers from the following website

and write summary of the passages.

3. Write any five formal / informal letters from the past papers 2015-2022.
4. Write essays on the following topics,
(a) Write a story which includes the words: ‘When they did not agree with her
solution, she felt angry.’
(b) Write a story in which two people unexpectedly agreed to help each other.
(c) Write a story which includes the words: ‘When they entered the room, we
were impressed by what they were wearing.’
(d) Write a story about someone who lost all his possessions while he was
helping other people.
(e) Write a story in which a promise plays an important part.
(f) Describe a long journey by car or public transport that passes through
different kinds of scenery. (Remember that you can describe your fellow
travellers as well as the scenery.)
(g) Describe the effects of different types of weather on your neighbourhood.
(Remember to describe the effects on people as well as on the
surroundings.)
