self-study hours) minutes lectures per week for 14 weeks, 120 minutes structured
activities per week, 120 minutes individual study per week, in total is
16 weeks per semester, including mid exam and final exam.

Required and recommended Students have taken Introduction to Linear Algebra course (MMM-
prerequisites for joining the 2202) and have participated in the final examination of the course

Module objectives/intended After completing this course, the students will be able:
learning outcomes CO1. apply linear algebra concept to solve some linear transformation
problems;
CO2. apply linear algebra concept to solve some operator problems;
CO3. apply linear algebra concept to analyze further representation matrices.
Content Exploration of the application of the properties of vector spaces and inner
product spaces (which have been studied on Linear Algebra courses) based
project consisting:
1. Minimization Problem
- Solution of equation
- The closest point
- Least squares
2. Eigenvalue and Eigenvectors on Dynamical System
- Singular Value Decomposition and Image Compression
- Management of Population
3. Computer Search Engine and Page Rank Tools using Inverse Matrix.
- Rank and inverse calculation
4. Data Signal Processing and Digital Filter
- Digital Filter: Low Pass, High Pass
- Data Compression and Haar Wavelet Transform
- Introduction to Fourier Transform
