EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Classy Copies Printing Services is a digital printing startup located at Barugohay

Norte, Carigara Leyte. It will be run by six entrepreneur students from EVSU-CC.

The target market will be the students, teachers, senior citizen, businesses and

parents. We will provide for a wide range of printing services, including document

printing, photocopy, photo printing/develop, invitation/postcard printing and id

lamination.

Our goal is to serve all the printing needs of the said target customer with fast, cost-

efficient and a high-quality product. The success of a startup heavily depends on its

staff and management that is why it is well-planned before starting a print shop.

The startup capital for our business printing press will be P100,000. Our target is to

balance the initial cost of the startup with earned profits by the end of the first year

and to achieve the net profit of 20,000 pesos per month by the end of the first year.

Our services are special in a way that we are not only focus to generate

revenue, we also think of the welfare of our customers especially the students by

offering them a lower price compared to our competitors.

In terms of encoding, we have extra computers for them to use which cost 5

pesos per 15 minutes of computer usage and 20% off if they also print their

document in our shop after renting our computer.

We also offer Piso Wi-Fi, wherein our customers will be able to do what they

want on their cellphones or any devices that needs internet connection just by

inserting coins equivalent to the time that they will have access to it.

MARKETING STRATEGY
Our business offers fast, cost-efficient and a high-quality service to our valued

customers. Thus, we will offer customized printing products based on the customer

request and preferences.

We will expand our printing services into new domestic markets to gain

additional and potential customers by using flyers, social media platforms and the

word-of-mouth advertising.

We will ensure to enhance our sales channels to cater all our customers that

is either in a walk-in or online transaction. Through evaluating and optimizing our

sales channels it can help us reach more clients, increase our market control and

improve profitability.

In attaining high customer satisfactory level, we see to it not to neglect

customer service. We will open our eyes, ears and mind to be aware of the

customer’s perception towards our customers service responsiveness. In other

words, positive word-of-mouth from a happy customer is valuable to our business.

We will improve our community relations through increasing our presence and

visibility in the community. We will increase our involvement to be well-known such

as sponsoring small programs that are in need of our service.

We also promote and give free tutorials online about the basic use of a

computer and printer, especially to student who does not know yet how to use it.

PRICING STRATEGY
We will use the cost – based pricing strategy wherein it involves setting the

price of a product or service based on the cost of the raw materials used and

reasonable pricing of service. Then, add a margin to obtain a selling price.

We take into account our competitors pricing strategy to not be left out and do

our outmost effort to lower the price in a reasonable manner.

We offer discounts, in a situation such as customer with a printing orders in a

maximum quantity to lessen their expenses. Also, we give promos occasionally to

gain customers that will surely go back just to acquire our services.

As we observed, we found out that there is a high demand in printing service

considering fast, and cost-efficient and high-quality product which will provide them

satisfaction given that there are existing businesses in the said location. Therefore,

there are most important market needs that our printing service should be applied to

meet the expectation of the customer and the success of the business. This are

knowledge, reliability, pricing, timely completion and high quality. One of the key

points of our strategy is to focus on those decision-making individuals that know and

to show appreciation to their customer.
