1. SALANGGAR

Salanggar is processed banana mixed with coconut milk and certain spices.
This food is one of the mandatory menus for the Banggai people. Usually
served with tamarind sauce or chili paste and dabu-dabu.
The taste of this food is a combination of the savory coconut milk and the
sweetness of the banana. In regional big events or thanksgiving events this
menu is always not left behind and can be an alternative when you are
tired of eating rice.

2. Onyop

Onyop is a typical food from the city of Luwuk Banggai. Onyop is made
from sago, which is formed into a thick jelly and then served together with
a menu of gravy, vegetables and fish in tamarind sause.
This special food of the Saluan tribe is usually added with burnt coconut
meat in certain communities. This menu is often the official meal in the
Saluan tribe, one of the largest tribes in this city.
To make Onyop, a typical food from the city of Luwuk Banggai, you must
provide enoght ingredients, namely sago flour. Then the water boils to
dissolve the sago and from it into a kind of thick jelly.
