CHANT COMPETITION
MINOR EVENT
I. PARTICIPANTS
In each group, all students are eligible to participate if he/she meets the
following requirements:
A. He/she is a bona fide College of Agriculture student at Mindanao State University-
General Santos City.
B. The student is not part of any administration and execution of the contest.
II. REGISTRATION
1. All students of COA shall be accepted as participants.
III. CONTEST MECHANICS
1. The chant shall be done during the parade of Piyesta sa Tanghal.
2. The chant content must be aligned to the assigned festivals.
3. The use of recorded background music, lifting and tossing is prohibited, and may
result to disqualification.
4. Performers may use percussion instruments like maracas, tambourines,
snare/bass drums, cymbals and others. The yell must be audible and not to be
empowered by the sounds produced by the instruments.
5. Performers may perform body movements but will not have bearing on the
competition of scores by the judges.
6. Failure to follow the mechanics will be automatically disqualified.
7. The decision of the Board of Judges shall be final and irrevocable.

YELL COMPETITION
MINOR EVENT
I. PARTICIPANTS
In each group, all students are eligible to participate if he/she meets the
following requirements:
A. He/she is a bona fide College of Agriculture student at Mindanao State University-
General Santos City.
B. The student is not part of any administration and execution of the contest.
II. REGISTRATION
1. All students of COA shall be accepted as participants.
III. CONTEST MECHANICS
1. The yell shall be done after the parade of Piyesta sa Tanghal.
2. The yell content must be aligned to the assigned festivals.

HEADDRESS COMPETITION
MINOR EVENT
I. PARTICIPANTS
In each group, all students are eligible to participate if he/she meets the
following requirements:
A. He/she is a bona fide College of Agriculture student at Mindanao State University-
General Santos City.
B. The student is not part of any administration and execution of the contest.
II. REGISTRATION
1. All students of COA shall be accepted as participants.
III. CONTEST MECHANICS
1. The headdress shall be use during the parade of Piyesta sa Tanghal.
2. The headdress content must be aligned to the assigned festivals.
3. Any materials is allowed to be used in making the headdress.
3. Headdress impropriety is prohibited, and may result to disqualification.
4. Failure to follow the mechanics will be automatically disqualified.
5. The decision of the Board of Judges shall be final and irrevocable.

AMAZING RACE
MINOR EVENT
I. PARTICIPANTS
There must be ten (10) participants in each group. A student is eligible to
participate if he/she meets the following requirements:
A. He/she is a bona fide College of Agriculture student at Mindanao State University-
General Santos City.
B. The student is not part of any administration and execution of the contest.
II. REGISTRATION
1. Ten (10) students per group shall be accepted as participants.
2. Proper replacement shall be applicable in case the participant could not attend the
contest.
III. CONTEST MECHANICS
1. The task shall be given on the day of the competition.
2. The participants‟ paper must be signed by the assigned committee after finishing
the task given in every station.
3. The participants will not be allowed to skip the task in every station.
5. In the name of honor, excellence, and integrity, the participants should not do any
form of cheating.
5. The first group who finished the race will be automatically the champion.

LARONG PINOY
Participants:
A student is eligible to participate if he/she follows the following requirements:
a. He/she is bonafied COA student at Mindanao State University.
b. The student/participants are not part of any administration and execution of the
contest.

MINOR EVENT
I. BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The Mindanao State University – College of Agriculture Students Society will
conduct a Song Solo Contest during Piyesta sa Tanghal. It aims to promote and
recognize the talents of Agriculture students. It also aims to develop the utmost
potential of their voices and enhance their stage performance.
II. PARTICIPANTS
There must be two (2) participants each group. A student is eligible to
participate if he/she meets the following requirements:
A. He/she is a bona fide College of Agriculture student at Mindanao State University-
General Santos City.
B. The student is not part of any administration and execution of the contest.
III. REGISTRATION
1. One (1) student per department shall be accepted as participant.
2. Proper replacement shall be applicable in case the participant could not perform.

BALL GAMES
MINOR EVENTS
The College of Agriculture Student Society invites all Repears to join the BALL
GAMES such as: Basketball and Volleyball.
Aside from highlighting Reaper‟s talent, this Ball Games 2023, aims to
showcase various interpretations of (Ex. To have a better immune system
and health production.)
The emergence of technologies in Agriculture: Its enhancement and
development also encompasses the challenges we encountered during
these trying times of pandemic. A united movement brings forth a ripple of
change. Let us be at the helm of restoration.
Empower yourself, reimagine a better world, and revive the strength of the
agriculture sector. Together we can make change, together we can heal.
PARTICIPANTS:
The participants from each group must be:
a. A bona fide COA student of Mindanao State University – GSC enrolled in the 2nd
semester for AY 2022-2023.
b. The student is not part of any administration and execution of the contest.

MLBB COMPETITON
I. BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The Mindanao State University – College of Agriculture will conduct a MLBB
Competition during Piyesta sa Tanghal on April 2023. It aims to develop the
techniques and strategies while maintaining sportsmanship in playing online games.
II. TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE
-Open to all-male, all-female or mixed teams.
-Qualifying stage is single round robin; top four (4) teams will advance to the
playoffs.
-Playoffs stage will be BO3, top two (2) teams will advance to the finals.
-The game will be played online and in draft pick mode.
III. PLAYER REQUIREMENT
-A bonafide Agriculture student of Mindanao State University.
-There must be two (2) teams per department.
-A player can only join 1 team for each department.
-Players must be available during tournament schedules.
IV. TEAM REQUIREMENTS
-A team must consist of the following members:
-5 main players
-1 reserved player (optional)
-1 team captain
*once registered players cannot be replaced throughout the event.
V. SCHEDULE/TIMING OF MATCHES
-Only Tournament Director can alter schedule and timing of matches
-Players should be ready 30 minutes before the tournament will start.
-The game will start on the opening of AGGIE week at 5 in the afternoon (schedules
may vary).

QUIZ BOWL
MINOR EVENT
I. PARTICIPANTS
In each group, all students are eligible to participate if he/she meets the
following requirements:
A. He/she is a bona fide College of Agriculture student at Mindanao State University-
General Santos City.
B. The student is not part of any administration and execution of the contest.
II. REGISTRATION
1. All students of COA shall be accepted as participants.
III. CONTEST MECHANICS
1. The coverage of the Team Quiz Bee includes the following subjects: Mathematics,
Science & Technology, General Information, and English & Literature.
2. The Quiz Bee is open to all festivals of the College of Agriculture and each festival
will have three (3) representatives.
3. The group will write their answers at the black part of the illustration board.
4. All groups will answer the same set of questions in writing.
5. There will be three (3) components in the competition namely: Easy round,
Average round, and the Difficult round.
6. Each round has 10 questions. The Easy round is worth 1 point, the Average round
is worth 3 points, and the Difficult round is worth 5 points.
7. The question will be read by the quizmaster twice.
8. After the second (2nd) reading, the Quizmaster shall say “go”. Only then will the
groups be allowed to write their answers. Automatically, the 10-second time limit will
begin with the word “go” by the Quizmaster.
9. After the time limit, the whistle is blown by the time-keeper. The groups must stop
writing and must raise their answer boards.
10. The Quizmaster shall read and verify the groups‟ answer.
11. The four groups who gets the highest number of points is automatically declared
the champion or the runner-ups as the case may be.

12. The Clincher round takes place only if there is a tie. Should there be a tie among
the teams getting the highest score or the second (2nd) highest score, the contest
continues to the Clincher round to determine the Champion or Runner-up as the
case may be.
13. The total number of points of the tied groups will revert back to zero during the
Clincher round.
14. In the Clincher round, as many questions will be asked. Each question is
assigned 10 points. The group who first gets the highest points is declared the
Winner.
15. All protests should be referred to the Board of Judges immediately, before the
Quizmaster reads the next question.
16. The Board of Judges shall be in complete control of the contest. Their decision
shall be final in all questions/protests.

PARTICIPANTS:

Scoring System:
20 points - Green Flag (Champion)
15 points - Blue Flag (1st runner-up)
10 points - Yellow Flag (2nd runner-up)
5 points – White Flag (3rd runner-up)
0 points – Red Flag (No participants)
MECHANICS
Within five (5) minutes, each department will have an opportunity to steal the flag.
Rankings will be modified in accordance with each department‟s flag.
