HOW TO INSTALL GOOGLE EARTH PRO ON

MAC

Overview: This instruction details how to download and install Google Earth Pro on Mac following these

steps. The installation of Google Earth Pro provides access to the application and its features.

DISCLAIMER: The minimum requirements for Mac system configuration are needed to properly

download and install the Google Earth Pro application on your Mac.

 Operating System: Mac OS 10.8

 CPU: Intel 64-bit

 System Memory (RAM): 2GB

 Hard Disk: 2GB available space

 Internet Connection

 Graphics Processor: OpenGL 1.4 compatible

Note: The steps below are only for checking your system configurations and can be skipped if you are

familiar with the process.

HOW TO CONDUCT A BASIC VERIFICATION OF YOUR MAC SYSTEM

CONFIGURATION

1) Scroll to the upper-leftmost corner of your computer screen.

 2) Click on the Apple Menu Icon .

3) From the drop-down menu, click on About This Mac.

Note: A pop-up box listing your Mac system configuration will appear on the computer screen.

4) For detailed information on Mac system configuration Cclick on the More info button to visit the

general information menu > where all the Macintosh system configurations are listed.

5) If system configuration is current proceed to the next instructions.

STEPS TO DOWNLOAD GOOGLE EARTH PRO ON MAC

1) Click on the following link to skip the next 7 steps or follow the steps below.

https://www.google.com/earth/versions/#download-pro.

2) On your Mac screen hover or click on the Dock to display.

3) Click to open the web browser (Safari, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, etc) in the Dock.

4) Type in Google Earth Pro into the address bar or search engine.

5) Click on “Earth Visions – Google Earth” to arrive on Google on the webpage.

On the Google webpage click on the laptop icon with an underneath caption that reads “Google Earth Pro

desktop” or scroll down on the page to reach the “Download Earth Pro desktop” button link.

6) Click on the Download Earth Pro desktop button.

7) Download Google Earth Pro (Mac) box will pop up.!

8) Click on the Accept & Download button.

9) The finder application will appear to display the path and location where the file name

GoogleEarthProMac-Intel.dmg will be downloaded.

This completes the Google Earth Pro downloaded instructions.

STEPS TO INSTALL GOOGLE EARTH PRO ON MAC

1) Click on the Finder in the Dock.

2) Navigate to the Download folder or a different folder where the file GoogleEarthProMac-Intel.dmg is

stored.

3) Double-click on the GoogleEarthProMac-Intel.dmg file to open the installation Finder window.

4) Double-click on the GoogleEarthProMac-Intel.dmg box icon in the installation finder window to

install the application from the Pkg Installer.

5) Click the Continue button after reading the introduction.

6) Click the Continue button after selecting the location where the application should be installed,

preferably the Application folder.

Note* During the installation phase the program will sometimes require you to input your administrative

ID and password to complete the installation.

7) Click the Continue button after the summary to finish the installation.

8) Click the Close Button after successful installation.

COMPLETION OF THE GOOGLE EARTH PRO APPLICATION.
Note: A display box prompting the deletion of the downloaded GoogleEarthPro.DMG file might poo-up.

Click yes to thrash the file.

9) Click on the Launchpad in the Dock to open the Google Earth Pro application.

10) Scroll to the Google Earth Pro application and double-click to open it.

Or

11) To open Google Earth Pro, open the application folder from Finder and double-click on Google Earth

Pro.

This completes the Google Earth Pro installation instructions.
