Introduction
How does the
government affect
society and the
minds of the
people?
Government
Today, the government has an important role in the social and mental life of
the people through its policies and actions.
On some occasions, these policies can have a negative or positive impact on
society and on people's mental health

There are many problems, but the most important ones that mentally affect
people are:
1. Unstable economic policies.
2. Lack of access to basic services.
3. Unfair social policies.
Unstable economic policies
Unstable economic policies can generate uncertainty and anxiety among the
population, which can negatively affect people's mental health. If people
cannot be confident in their ability to keep their jobs and provide for
themselves and their families, they can become frustrated, anxious, and
depressed.

Political instability
Lack of access to basic services
If the government does not provide essential basic services like quality health care and
education, this can negatively affect people's mental health. For example, if people are
unable to access the medical care they need, they may feel abandoned and anxious,
especially in emergency situations, as well as suffer physical discomfort from illness.

Similarly, if quality education is not available to all, people may feel left out and
demotivated. In addition, the lack of education generates ignoramuses and this has
repercussions in the future, where if they have children these people can generate more
ignoramuses who are not useful to society. Ignorance also generates frustration and that
people are not able to distinguish between good and bad.

Unfair social policies

The implementation of unfair social
policies can lead to inequalities and
social tensions, which can negatively
affect people's mental health. If
there are few economic opportunities
for certain communities or population
groups, they may feel marginalized
and experience mental health
problems such as depression and
anxiety.
To solve some of these problems, long-term
structural and political changes are needed to
create a more just and equitable society. The
solutions we propose are:

Solution to
Unstable economic policies: Foster
macroeconomic stability, promote
transparency and diversify the economy.

the problem Lack of access to basic services: Invest in

infrastructure, implement social inclusion
programs and promote public-private
partnerships for access to services.
Unfair social policies: Implement
redistribution policies, strengthen education
and health, and encourage citizen
participation.
