1. Cutting and Sticking – Lolly collage – Cut out the small summer
pictures and fill up your lolly. Who can get the most pictures on
their lolly? Who can make the best design? Can you make any
patterns? Resources – collage sheets, glitter and sparkles

1. Summer Garden Sensory Bottles (see card)
2. Colour by numbers - Buckets – Talk to the children about what
they are going to do. Talk them through numbers 1 to 10. Show
them number cards or number fan and ask children to tell you
the correct numeral. Show them the numbers on the sheets and
the colours that match to those numbers. Ask them to find a
number 1 on their sheet and ask what colour it needs to be, then
number 2, number 3 etc… See if any of the children can finish this
without any further help. Others will need your help to get the
colours in the right place. This activity is about number
recognition and matching.
