Q(1) Three IR sensors are installed at various locations on a conveyer belt, i.e. one each at the
ends and one in the middle, to detect the presence of an object. If the object appears on
the left side, the conveyer motor starts rotating clockwise. If the object appears on the
right side, the conveyer motor starts rotating anticlockwise. The conveyer stops when
the object reaches the middle. Furthermore, if objects appear on both ends
simultaneously, an alarm is activated. The power to the system is controlled via start
and stop push buttons.
Analyze the scenario and develop the Relay Logic Diagram for this system.

Q(2) An industrial oven has two doors and an exhaust fan. The heater cannot be energized until
both doors are closed and the exhaust fan is running. Two limit switches are placed to
detect if the doors are closed. A flow switch is placed near the fan to check if it is working.
Two push buttons are used to start and stop the electric supply to the oven.
Analyze the scenario and develop the PLC Ladder Diagram for this system.
