Dear Partners:

The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC), St. Catherine celebrates this year,
Jamaica 60th Independence Anniversary under the Theme, Re-igniting a Nation for Greatness”.
We wish to congratulate you in your pursuit to unearth and develop the creative talents of your
students through the Performing Arts Festival. It is with great pride that we write to inform you
that our National Finals for the 2023 season, will be held at the Little Theatre, Arthur Wint
Drive, Kingston.

Please note that the highest gold in each class/category will move on to the National Finals. We
encourage schools/institutions to begin to make all the necessary arrangements for transportation
and lunches for those students who will be traveling to the national finals.

The national finals will be held from April 3 - April 27, 2023 at approximately (9am – 5pm
daily). We applaud your efforts and wish for you and your students all the best and hope that
your school will be among those that will take home the National Trophy. Please note: your gold
pieces for Drama will be going on to the National finals on April 26, 2023.
