Halal Certificate is a halal product recognition that is issued by BPJPH, based on written
halal fatwa that is issued by MUI.
Therefore the validity period of MUI halal decree changes from 2 years to 4 years based on
MUI Decree No. Kep-49/DHN-MUI/V/2021 regarding adjustment of halal decree validity
time

MUI Decree are accepted in UAE and other countries that require implementation of standard
of UAE.S 2055-2:2016
