Narrative Report

The student nurses from BSN-2D successfully conducted a feeding program and health teaching activity for 24 kindergarten children in Brgy. Bangad, Santa Maria, Isabela on December 14, 2022. With support from clinical instructors, teachers, parents and team leaders, the student nurses were able to feed the children and educate them about proper nutrition and handwashing. The children enjoyed the interactive lessons and games. The program promoted the importance of eating a balanced diet and washing hands to stay healthy.

NARRATIVE REPORT

FEEDING PROGRAM

With the help of our clinical instructor as well as the full cooperation of the student nurse and the
teachers of the Day-Care together with the parents and also our main recipients the
kindergarten. The conducting of the activity was successful through the leadership of the three
Team leaders in each set and also the facilitators who were behind the success of the said
program. We, the student nurse was able to fed 24 children last December 14, 2022 at Brgy.
Bangad, Santa Maria, Isabela. This activity was full of excitement and love prepared by the
student nurses of BSN-2D. It was a memorable Day at Brgy. Bangad because all the children
are very happy and thankful as well as the teachers and parents who were with us throughout
the program. The said activity was composed of feeding program as well as health teaching
about go,grow and glow foods, and handwashing with the THEME: "MAGHUGAS NG KAMAY
PARA HELLO, VIRUS GOODBYE" "SA GO, GROW, AND GLOW FOOD, KATAWAN AY
MASIGLA AT MAY RESISTENSIYA"
We also conducted a health lesson about GO,GROW AND GLOW FOOD, on the children by
flashing some photos with powerpoint presentations and also by playing games on the children.
The other team was also conducting a handwashing with the Lead of the team Leader. The
whole program was filled with joy because through the small things we can share our learnings
and deliver some health education.
