A NARRATIVE REPORT ON
THE SCHOOL-BASED
FEEDING PROGRAM
S.Y. 2021-2022
Catubangan Elementary
School wants its learners to be
healthy and fit. Thus,
to strengthen the nutrition of
its learners, the school
spearheaded by Mark Angel C.
Bautista, Teacher-In-Charge
and with the SBFP
Coordinator targeted
supplementary feeding
program for wasted and
severely wasted children of
this
school. The project which was
st
launched on the 1 day of
February 2022 aims the
reduction of malnutrition
among grade school children.
Ms. Lolita O. Bello, the SBFP
coordinator of the school,
together with the
assistance of Mr. Ruel G.
Banawan, co-teacher
threshed-out those who
were
severely wasted and wasted
pupils from Grade I to Grade
VI levels. There were 20
recipients of the program.
Eleven (11) pupils from
kindergarten and nine (9)
pupils
from Grade 1.
Among the goods given to
recipients were Jersey milk,
nutribuns, kamote,
beans, mongo, porridge, and
vitamins. There were 240
pieces of nutribuns, 1480
sachet of Jersey milk, 165 pcs
of nutri-foods (chicken and
beef flavor), and 500
tablets of Ceelin Vitamins.
Before giving the goods
to the recipients, the
parents were oriented
individually about the feeding
program of the department and
informed their child’s
nutritional status, program
objectives, and purposes in
which they would take part.
The teachers packed and
distributed the goods to
recipients. They also
advised them about
handwashing before eating the
goods provided for them and
to
keep their bodies clean, brush
their teeth and to have a
regular exercise.

IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECT BUSOG

Villa Beltran Elementary School wants its learners to be healthy and


fit. Thus, to strengthen the nutrition of its leaners, the spearheaded by Alberto
M. Calanno Jr., Head Teacher III and with the SBFP Coordinator targeted
supplementary Feeding Program for wasted and severely wasted children of this
school. The project Busog which was launched on December 5, 2022 aims the
reduction of malnutrition among the grade school children.

Ms. Rema lyn Eugenio, the SBFP Co-Coordinator of the school ,


together with the assistance of Ms. Donna Claire P. Calugay threshed-out those
who were severely wasted and wasted pupils from kindergarten to Grade 6
levels. There were 26 recipients of the program. Thirteen (13) Males and
