Achieve

Do you have dreams that you want to achieve? The ones you just want

it in your mind, not because anyone else will give you something or have

some encouragement when you achieve it. Well, I have a couple of those.

In my essay, I would like to tell you the dreams I have overall when I am

little to now.

When I was small, I used to think that learning is unimportant. I

thought I will just finish junior-high and play around the world without

doing anything. I hate learning and I think I will just graduate as soon as

possible. When I was a little bigger, I heard there is a thing called

university. I knew that university is a place when you study particularly

important and hard things. However, I still do not want to go to university

because I think it will just be boring.

As I grow older, I increasingly like learning, I especially like Math

and Science. From city to country, from country to continent, and from

continent to the entire world, I want to go to the best university in my

cognition. However, when I tell my classmates I want to go to Harvard,

they just laugh and ignore it like I am just telling a joke. Some even sneer

me that I am never going to go into Harvard or only idiots want to go to

Harvard. My parents ask me if MIT, Stanford, or Yale is any good. I said

no and I am just sticking with Harvard.

When I am in 4th grade, I go to the enrollment test of SHSID. I tried

5 times from now, but every time I failed of being admitted by the school.

As the old saying goes, “Failure is the mother of success.” However, I

tried the test every time but never admitted as my confidence is

decreasing every time, but I never stop trying. I will probably go to the

entrance test again next time.

As the old saying goes, “Wonders never cease.” Miracles do not

happen easily; they happen by accident. Only if you try and never give

up, you will success after all.
