I prefer to get monetary presents like phones and cash.

This is the main reason why money can be used to buy a book or clothes, for example.
As a result/Hence/Thus, cash presents are always appreciated, and I can put them to

I consider myself an introvert.

I would say that I prefer receiving sentimental gifts, such as letters and stamps, and
handmade items from other people.
 
This’s because I can clearly feel their care, thoughts, and affection.
