CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, the MOUNT SECURITY SERVICES (Hereinafter referred to as the contractor) situated along
Chipwenupwenu Road Makeni East at Phishe Lodge Lusaka do enter into a fixed-term contract of work.

agreed to provide the required services on this fixed-term contract; and
WHEREAS, the above mentioned employee has the appropriate expertise to perform the service required by
MOUNT SECURITY SERVICES to the required standards of performance
NOW, THEREFORE, in the consideration of the promises contained herein, the parties agree to abide by the terms
and conditions as set out in this agreement, pertaining to the Government of the Republic of Zambia;
1. Work Title
The Job Title will be Security Officer

2. Job Purpose/Key Performance Areas

The Security Officer will provide guarding services on premises assigned by MOUNT SECURITY
SERVICES currently in Lusaka but subsequently anywhere else. The specific performance assessment
areas include:
 Ensuring that the premises and the property on the premise are safe
 Reporting any security risks or missing items
 Accounting for the time and resources in your custody
Failure to abide by the outlined rules and regulations will result in the officer’s employment being
terminated or subsequent prosecution or both depending on the gravity of the offence.
3. Date of commencement of the contract
This contract will commence on……………………………………………..

4. Remuneration
Based on the agreement, payment under this contract will be a monthly salary One Thousand Kwacha
(K1,000.00) when an officer has worked for the full month that is when he or she gets full salary and
increment will be based on assessment or performance of an officer.

5. Termination
Notwithstanding provision 2 (period of performance), the management of MOUNT SECURITY
SERVICES reserves the right to immediately terminate this agreement in case of failure by the contracted
to deliver services to the required standard of performance, or in the case of misconduct, including but not
limited to, theft, violence, drinking on duty, falsifications of records, absconding from duties or any other
serious offences, in accordance with the provisions of the Disciplinary Code and Procedures (Public
Service Regulations).

6. Management of Property, Tools and Assets
This agreement is motivated by profit making objectives therefore prudent management of property, tools
and assets, given to the officer, is at the Centre of this agreement.

7. Acceptance Clause
I confirm that I have read, understood and hereby accept the terms and conditions as set out in this contract.

APENDIX 1: SOME EXPRESS TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

For purposes of effective coordination of work at MOUNT SECURITY SERVICES, all officers must abide by the
terms and conditions set by Management of MOUNT SECURITY SERVICES way as express terms of this
agreement.
The following terms outlined below constitute some of the terms and consequences (repercussions) in addition
to the code and conduct;
 Stopping work without a notice of two weeks or one month an officer will not be paid for the last month
work.
 Reporting late for parade, an officer will be charged a Twenty kwacha (K20) which will be deducted from
salary and reporting time is 16:25 hrs. sharp.
 Substantiated complaint from client, officer will be dismissed
 Absent from work for three days (3 days) without any reason, officer will be dismissed.
 Absent without any report officer will be charged a Fifty kwacha (k50).
 Failure to return company property and uniform after stopping work, 400 charge for uniform, 500 for boots
 and calculated amount on the property not returned based on market value.
 The company will make sure they provide the full uniforms top and down for the officer.
 An officer will make sure that he or she maintains the boots given to he or she all the time.

understood the express terms outlined above. I commit that I will follow and abide by the terms and agree that
violation of any or more of the terms outlined will result in the mattered repercussions. I therefore have no right to
make claim over the said matters outlined in the express terms and I have received the full package of the company
code of conduct so that I will always be observing what I have been taught.
