Progress about my curriculum

(_06_/_03_/_23_) During this week, I made progress in my curriculum by finalizing the topic for the
third lesson. The third lesson will focus on Chinese cuisine, including the utensils,
cooking techniques, and culinary culture. By combining the Chinese characters
involved with the cooking techniques, students can learn about the most widely used

Hours completed way of creating Chinese characters - Pictophonetic characters.

(amount of internship hours Experience and Practice that I learned

covered e.g. 1 week fulltime I learned the importance of combining the school's existing resources with the

is about 40) curriculum content during the experiential activity section of the course. This can
provide students with ample opportunities to participate and gain a deep
understanding of Chinese culture through touching, observing, comparing, and
thinking critically. By doing so, we can broaden their horizons and cultivate an
international perspective that is inclusive and open-minded.

Experience and Practice that I bring to school
Moreover, I learned how to fully utilize my existing network to search for relevant
materials and share experiences, not limiting myself to the scope of international
Chinese education. Instead, I expanded my search to related disciplines such as
graphic design, calligraphy, folk art, and other areas of study. This approach enabled
me to generate new ideas through multiple perspectives and creative thinking.
Reflective part of my work
In reflecting on my work, I realized the importance of constantly striving to improve
myself as an educator. By continuously updating my knowledge and skills, I can
better serve the needs of my students and help them to achieve their full potential.
