Executive Summary
This business case will set out the company’s business concerns, benefits, and
recommendations for the implementation of the HFL Software App project
proposal. This project proposal will be funded by the company and it is targeted to
be launched in the second quarter of 2051.
Strategic Objective
The strategic objective of the HFL Software App project proposal is to have one
platform for all communication within the company. This will enable all employees to
have improved collaboration and communication across the company for the next
years.

The Business Case

Without having a clear communication channel or platform, the employees used
various instant messaging applications and it resulted in miscommunication and
security issues. This urged the company to develop a team collaboration software
applications that will serve as an integration of all instant messaging applications.
On the other hand, the company will fund the project proposal and it will be
launched by the second quarter of 2051.

Problem Statement
The company had some issues in not having an established communication channel
for all its employees which resulted in a lack of teamwork, security issues, and loss
of customer data. 

Assumptions and Constraints

The  software development team assumes that they will be provided with sufficient
IT resources and tools to design and code the HFL Software App. However, it is
expected that the company will incur more costs for the completion of the project
proposal.
