Presentation of Different Case Studies

“FOSTERING RESEARCH EDUCATION TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE”

I. Introduction

The opening remarks was delivered by one of the faculty members and Dean of the College of Education and
Social Sciences, Dr. Emmylou A. Emperador. She addresses how grateful she was for the participation of the
students; some of the inspiring messages were delivered by her as well.

B. Overview
On June 15, 2023, an event took place at the Mindanao State University at Naawan Function House. This event
gives students the opportunity to present their different case studies/ theses. It was witnessed by the students,
faculty members and panelists. After presenting, the panelists delivered their questions addressed to the
presenters after analyzing and evaluating their studies.

C. Objectives

 Enhancement of Students’ knowledge about research.


 Compare and connect each of the studies for future collaboration.
 Develop students’ professionalism and refine their abilities to express complex ideas.

II. Speakers of the event


-A message was delivered by two of the speakers which are Mr. Leemarc Alia and Mr. Gilden Maecah
Migalang.
-Each of the evaluators was introduced by the instructors. After that, the criteria for judging was presented to the
audience.
-Speakers were also given the chance to give their insights about the proper writing of research and its contents.

III. Presentation of Thesis


-In the event, a number of works were displayed, and each one of them is unique and remarkable. They have
given everything they have to give in order to deliver a thorough interpretation of their work, and everyone,
including me, has been amazed. They presented it in a different way which had given us new ideas and
strategies,
-There are significant differences in the ages, backgrounds, and teaching experiences of the public high school
instructors at CNS, which were highlighted in a study on creative nurturing skills in classroom management. It
focused on the various facets of a teacher who is educating to students who have a vast experience gap.
However, it also demonstrates whether or not these components are important and how they affect their capacity
to promote creativity.
-One of the presented researches was about the impact of social media to the students; how the social media
affects the behavior of the students, its purposes in the field of English.
-The results of this study suggest that there is a strong correlation between the G7 students at Naawan National
High School's positive view of English Remedial Instruction and their performance in English. This study
focused on the English remedial instruction given to students in grade 7 at that school.

IV. Questions and Answers


-All of the researchers were asked about the significance of their studies, the challenges they encountered along
the making of the research and the data they presented during the presentation. They were also asked to present
the benefits we can get from their research.
V. Summary
-With a total of 6 presenters, the program ran smoothly throughout the morning and afternoon. Each presenter
gained fresh knowledge from the insights and information they gained about the other's presentations. The
panelists and other instructors appreciated the researchers for their competence in their disciplines and papers as
well as for their efforts in finishing their papers and announcing the event's winner.
