During the webinar, she discussed the current system in the New Normal, but she first
introduced and highlighted the policy, or what a policy would be. She emphasized that a policy is
all about the people involved, that there must be love in posting policies, that there must be
credibility, output, and intelligence, that policies must be yes to people, and that policymakers
must consider aspects in delivering policies. She also talked about the learning continuity plan,
which serves as a guiding principle for the whole K-12 educational system. This continuity plan
is made up of several important pillars, including school readiness, human resources,
infrastructure readiness, transition programs, partnership building, teaching and learning
modalities, and assessment centered on the development of learners' most important skills and
values. She introduced the three A's that are important in the current system. The first step is to
adapt to the situation; the second is to implement new changes in teaching and learning; and the
third is to master and find solutions by implementing new changes in teaching and learning with
the assistance of experts. She also emphasized the most important learning competencies, such as
the constraints of task performance due to mode of instruction, the role of curriculum creators
and other stakeholders, and the value of cooperative learning to students. The role of parents and
stakeholders in accepting the new normal. She underlined the importance of parents continuing
to teach their children problem-solving skills as well as emergency preparedness and safe
technology use. Local governments must reallocate resources and make adjustments to the new
normal, such as offering communal internet and home schooling. As Ma'am Vallez went through
discussion she explained the importance of caring for students and dealing with uncertainty as
part of being a good teacher in the midst of a pandemic, as well as being proactive, risk taker,
and chill as contributing factors on how to be an effective leader.

During the open forum, the emcee persuaded the participants to ask some questions and
clarifications, but everybody understood the topic presented by the speakers because each of
them brilliantly delivered important learning for the participants to ponder and reviewed. It is a
mere representation that each participants listened attentively to the speakers even if some
struggled from internet connection. It was indeed a well cleared presentation of each topic by the
speakers and so everybody was satisfied for the success and outcome of the webinar.

Then, the message was delivered by our very own professor, Dr. Ricky B. Pante. Our
professor was happy for the outcome of the webinar. He gave thanks to the persons behind
namely the officers of the class, the participants and the speakers who shared their brilliant
insights and expertise on delivering each topic assigned. He read the observation coming from
the Dean, Dr. Gemma Kintanar about the webinar and it was rated as excellent. There were a lot
of good points reiterated and uttered. The dean commended the class and our professor for a job
well done and how happy our professor was as well as the class. On the other hand, our professor
expresses some reasons and challenges for us to be able to make and bring out the best and it was
taken by the class constructively. The important learning imparted by the speakers was one of a
kind and the realization of being a good teacher is possible in the future. All gratefulness and
commendations were given to all who had been participated in the webinar. The set-up is good
from the preliminaries, energizers, and messages. Everything is fine and run smoothly. Lastly,
our professor announces our grades which everyone cherished and happy hearing the good news.

After that, the closing remarks was delivered by Mr. Mark John Lou Espina. The
summary of all the activities from part 1-3 of the webinar was taken accordingly. It was a jolly
remark given by him because he brilliantly spoke well using his natural manner and all the
participants enjoyed listening. He stressed out the good points about the webinar and the
speakers who had given inputs and learning in every topic. It was worthy and memorable
because of the different challenges given by our professor. He expressed then a heartfelt thanks
to our professor for being well-rounded and considerate in every situation. Mr. Espina expressed
good thoughts and feelings in behalf of the class for the success of every endeavor the subject
Curriculum Trends and Innovations has to offer.

The just concluded webinar can be associated to an adage, hitting two birds on one stone.
The participants did not only just learn and widen their minds about the curriculum in the New
Normal but also for the outreach program intended for the less fortunate children as well as to
our grannies, Lolos and Lolas.
