Dear Sir/Mam,

I am writing this to apply Executive Trainee Role with Marketing profile at GAIL India Limited.

I have pursued my bachelor’s in Petroleum Engineering from University of Petroleum & Energy
Studies Dehradun which has enabled me with strong technical knowledge in upstream, downstream
and city gas distribution areas. During my graduation I also interned with ONGC & GAIL India Limited
which provided me with practical experience as well as an outlook in the working cultures and
company values.

During my academic journey, I had the privilege of publishing a research paper titled "Synthesis of
TiO2-based self-cleaning super-hydrophilic thin film coating." This endeavor involved the
development of a cutting-edge thin film coating using TiO2, specifically designed for self-cleaning
glasses. This project not only provided me with the opportunity to collaborate with individuals from
diverse backgrounds, experiences, and expertise but also taught me the importance of integrating
those skill sets to tackle intricate challenges effectively.

Furthermore, my passion for problem-solving led me to achieve first place in a Case Study
competition organized by Kongsberg Digital Software Services Pvt. Ltd. This experience not only
bolstered my self-confidence but also honed my leadership skills. It taught me the significance of
advocating for a particular perspective and enabled me to effectively collaborate with others to
devise innovative solutions.

Overall, these experiences have not only expanded my knowledge and capabilities but have also
equipped me with the ability to navigate complex problems while fostering collaboration and
effective communication among team members.

What sets me apart for this role is my work experience. I worked in City Gas distribution industry for
12 months, where I gained insights about different customer segments i.e., transportation,
residential, commercial and industrial. Working in city gas distribution industry provided me with
hands on knowledge of the natural gas industry, in what forms it is sold i.e., CNG PNG and to which
customer segment and at what pricing.

My experience in collaborating with major OEMs like Maruti, Hyundai, Eicher, TATA. Bajaj etc. in
raising awareness about the natural gas and its forms in tier 2 and 3 cities of northern districts of
Bagalkot, Koppal & Raichur, Karnataka along with carrying out promotional campaigns and activities
for the same, my skills and experience align with GAIL’s marketing objective and I feel confident that
I will be contribute as an employee in this company.

With extensive experience in the dynamic city gas distribution industry, I have acquired valuable
expertise in various technical and business techniques, as well as an in-depth understanding of
workflows. Coupled with my educational foundation in Petroleum Engineering, I am confident in my
capacity to make a meaningful contribution to the company's vision of reshaping environments and
fostering sustainable development.
