ABSTRACT

Being one of the top Indian two-wheeler manufacturers by offering clients the greatest
electric mobility experiences through ongoing research and development. By launching a
revolution and innovation in electric transportation, we hope to enhance mobility and build a
sustainable ecology.
In light of this, we have developed a thorough strategy to build a strong EV ecosystem by
investing in next-generation technology solutions and internationally competitive products,
educating people about adopting sustainable mobility, and supplying Indian roads with zero
CO2 emission vehicles.
The Benling mission is to continue their tradition of creative thinking in the electric vehicle
market and to create products that would assist the Indian market in meeting consumer needs
for EVs by offering a safe and clean drive. Prioritizing the environment above all else
Benling works to develop environmentally friendly transportation options for the Indian
market. Benling India continuously pursues innovation and technology in collaboration with
its technology partner to offer our customers the best technological experience and enable
them to travel without endangering the environment. This is done in order to provide
Indian societies with zero emission vehicles. delivering cutting-edge mobility technology to
the Indian market with zero CO2 emissions, greater greenery, and no noise.

INTRODUCTION
Business development tasks and processes involve the creation and implementation of growth opportunities
within and between organisations. It is a branch of business, commerce, and organisational theory. The
creation of long-term value for an organisation through customers, markets, and relationships is known as
business development. Business development can be defined as any activity carried out by a small or large
organisation, non-profit or for-profit, with the goal of 'developing' the business in some way. Furthermore, a
business development consultant can perform business development activities both internally and externally.
External business development can be facilitated by Planning Systems, which governments put in place to
assist small businesses. Furthermore, reputation building has been shown to aid in business development.
The business developer is responsible for both the initial support and oversight of the implementation of
possible growth possibilities that have been analytically prepared for the senior management or board of
directors. The business developer collaborates with and incorporates the knowledge and feedback from the
organization's specialised functions, such as research and development, production, marketing, and sales,
both during the development phase and the implementation phase to ensure that the organisation is capable
of implementing the growth opportunity successfully. The business model, which answers the question
"how do we earn money," and the business plan, which serves as its analytical foundation and
implementation roadmap, are the instruments used by business developers to complete business
development activities.
Both sales development and business development are services inside a corporation that strive to enhance
awareness and sales. Sales development is concerned with discovering leads, investigating and developing
them, and bringing them through the sales cycle into a close. Finding new growth prospects for the
organisation and developing strategic relationships that open up new markets are all part of business
development. In this post, we will look at the distinctions between sales and business development inside a
company. Both business and sales development contribute to a company's success through increasing
revenue, but in different ways and at different times.

The sales development department is responsible for assessing leads, investigating them, identifying which
ones are most likely to convert, and passing those on to a salesperson to close. Employees in the business
development section seek for new ways to grow through collaborations with other organisations. Here in my
organisation both played their own roles in order to succeed the company and our company mainly follows
the systematic procedure of approaching the customers and closing the deal with them. Our team works with

well consistency and equality among all of them and which leads to the development of convicting skills
that are mainly important in the field of marketing and sales.

THE COMPANY CULTURE
In this age of mobility, we often forget to hold ourselves accountable to the environment. We constructed
rockets, ships, and constantly improved our lifestyle and comfort, yet as technology advanced, we neglected
its negative effects on the environment. We are all aware that using fuel and gases for our everyday
requirements contributes to unfavourable climate change. Perhaps we will be able to weather these climate
changes without incident, but our offspring will have to pay the price. Given this, I wanted to propose
something that would be both practical and ecologically beneficial.
Benling stands for pollute-free, super-affordable, sleek, elegant, and comfy electric two-wheelers.
Benling India aspires to be a pollution-free nation that is also responsible for maintaining a green and clean
environment. We have reached the point when rigorous action is required to conserve flora, animals, and
biodiversity. In the rush to the top, people forget that life is the most valuable thing in the world. We trash
and pollute here and there, whether directly or indirectly. I implore you to join the Swachh Bharat initiative
and make us proud on this earth and within ourselves. We used to drive polluting automobiles that ran on
gasoline, diesel, or gas. Can't we take a little step toward a greener world by moving from gasoline to
powered mobility?

THE WORK PROCEDURE


Collaborate with sales agents to help them achieve their goals and manage their territories by selling existing
and new items.
Increase the efficiency of the campus sales person by aiding with order processing and client issue handling.
Prepare every day to meet with consumers and support sales representatives in selling certain items.
Using website performance, evaluate customers' digital involvement with an online platform.
Create PowerPoint presentations on company trends and attend all meetings.
Improve the CRM user interface by collecting and translating functional requirements through stakeholder
interviews.
Navigate and update contact and inventory status information in a cloud-based CRM system. Collect and
analyse marketing data to determine priority prospects based on geographic areas.
Help with marketing campaigns, such as evaluating online marketing information and sending door-to-door
sales materials.
Create a PowerPoint presentation to illustrate comparisons and propose ticketing programmes after
researching ticketing plans and rates.
Provide all components and services required to run office equipment, including Internet access and
connections.
Monitor and report daily sales results to superiors, while also increasing marketing and communication
abilities through the design and execution of promotional initiatives.
Contacting new clients over the phone and doing one-on-one in-person presentations require exceptional
verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Navigate and update contact and inventory status information in a cloud-based CRM system.

Coming into the 4 rides of the company there are specifically 4 models mentioned in our website where u
can specify each vehicle’s specifications and their features in separate pages. The below mentioned scooters
are under mandatory for registration except Falcon, Icon, Kriti., which makes our sale process easy and the
deal making process is also a quite time saving process for the company as well as the customers. The below
mentioned are the 4 models of the electrical vehicles which are manufactured under our company.,

ICON
Icon Specifications, Features, and Pricing
The 250 W Brushless Motor Motor powers the Benling Icon. The Benling Icon's 60 V/20 Ah battery takes 8
to 9 hours to completely charge. Benling Icon's price ranges from Rs 65.470 K to Rs 74.160 K . It's available
in two sizes: LA and LI.

KRITI

The 250 W Brushless Motor Motor powers the Benling Kriti. The Benling Kriti's 48 V/20 Ah battery takes 8
to 9 hours to completely charge. Benling Kriti's price ranges from Rs 56.940 K to Rs 66.121 K. (ex-
showroom, Delhi). It's available in two versions: LA and LI.

Falcon

The 250 W Brushless Motor Motor powers the Benling Falcon. It takes 7-8 hours to completely charge the
Benling Falcon's 60 V / 20 Ah battery. The Benling Falcon price ranges from Rs 62.200 K to Rs 71.248 K.

AURA

A 2500 W BLDC motor powers the Benling Aura. The Benling Aura's 72 V / 40 Ah battery takes 4 hours to
completely charge. Benling Aura is priced starting at Rs 73 K. LI is the only variation offered.

THE SALES GROWTH OF BENLING
Benling India Energy & Technology Limited, a manufacturer of electric two-wheelers, grew by 53.73
percent year on year in the first three quarters of fiscal 2022, with sales totaling over 42,000 units. Despite
the impact of the second wave of Covid-19 on the automobile sector, the business sold 30,000 units
throughout the pandemic era (FY 2020). The business increased to Rs. 96 crores in the first three quarters of
FY 2021-22 from Rs. 45 crores the previous year. In fiscal 2020-21, the firm generated a revenue of Rs 116
crores.

Benling India has also announced intentions to expand to roughly 50 more locations in the next months, with
the ultimate goal of reaching 300 cities for showroom activities. Benling India is expanding its presence
across the country. It began in 2022 with a brand-new EV dealership in UP (Bijnor, Ghaziabad) and has
since extended to Delhi, Haryana (Rewari), Bengaluru (Karnataka), and Kerala (Parappanangadi). In its first
three years of business, the company has established relationships with over 210 dealer partners across the
country.

Benling India has invested around Rs. 90 crore in the company, which has been utilised to construct the
production facilities and develop goods. The business will invest additional Rs. 110 crore over the following
three years to refurbish the production plant and increase installed capacity. In addition, the firm will
generate more than 500 positions over the next three years as a result of its expansion and investment plan.
Since 2018, Benling India has been producing electric two-wheelers in Manesar, Haryana, in technological
partnership with Japan's Zhushi Clubs Limited. The firm gives its customers with three years of battery
guarantee and a variety of colour options. Its high-speed variants are completely ARAI/ICAT certified,
thanks to 100% local production. By partnering with famous NBFCs and fintech firms in the green finance
area, the company has secured low-interest cost financing for its E2W.
The firm provides both high-speed (Aura) and low-speed (Falcon, Kriti) versions, which are available for
test rides and purchase at all of its retail locations. The base model, Kriti, costs INR 68,000 (ex-showroom),
Falcon costs INR 72,000 (ex-showroom), and the High-speed Aura costs INR 82,975. (ex-showroom). The

new retail locations offer a one-of-a-kind ownership experience as well as full service and support to the
owners.

Conclusion
However, many of the other electric vehicle company are also coming in the market with their individual
specs and design quality, Benling is not much as hiked as Ola in the market but it is surviving in the market
at an edge with its own power and spectrum. My internship with Benling rounds over the sale of the electric
vehicles either required registration one’s or non-registration one’s and we learnt how to maintain ourselves
with the customers and how to approach the customers in market. We had also learnt how to analyse the
sales in a monthly basis and got to know about many things which a sales intern needs to know., so follow
our company’s slogan “Make us Proud by saying no to pollution – Bye Bye Pollution”
