Report on the College Monthly Magazine

Introduction

The aim of this report is to describe the types of regular features and articles that students at
the college would find interesting and entertaining in the monthly magazine.

Regular features

College news pages could be included. Students would be able to see all the news related to
the college. For example, Student Exchange Programmes and workshops that will be
implemented soon. Moreover, a problem page could be included in the magazine too.
Nowadays, students will always feel demotivated and have worries about their time
management. It is the reason why we need a problem page to let students get help from
others. Besides, one of the regular features that could be included is competitions. For
instance, showing the trophy and certificate of championship in the intercollege robotic
competition and basketball competition. This feature can make students feel proud of their
college's achievements and attract them to take part in any competition.

Articles

Careers advice could be included as the advice given would be helpful for students to
understand their strengths and weaknesses in different fields so that they can make the best
suitable choice in the future. Music features could also be added in for the purpose of
motivating students to achieve their goals and clear their minds. For example, positive lyrics
would help students to lift their mood of the day after study and temporarily forget their
sorrow. In order to provide students with experience and confidence in future job interviews,
interviews with graduated students could also be included. For instance, students would
know some examples of the questions that can be asked and consider how they would
answer in a real interview from them.

Recommendation

I recommend publishing a good mixture of news, regular features and articles in the college
monthly magazine. This will encourage all students to become more involved in the life of
the college. This will also help students to achieve higher goals in the future.
