1.

Write the name of seven ancient living beings, which is, that existed in ancient
times, designate the name of the era and period.

2. Choose three species (terrestrial or aquatic) that are currently endangered, the
regions of the world where they are and describe their habitat as well. (Note:
do not include living beings already studied in earlier evidence).

Polar Bear:

You will find that the polar bear lives in the coldest areas of the world. They live in the
Arctic, where temperatures are over the 0°, water is cold, and they are able to move
through thick ice sheets. Remote. Humans are rarely found except for small colonies and
native tribes in these areas.

Gorillas:

Gorillas live in the tropical forests of Africa, which are with a temperature of around 23 ° C.
The lowlands of tropical forests generally have a prolonged dry season and the vegetation
that develops there consists of thorny shrubs, trees and succulent plants, which are
capable of storing water in their cells.

Mandreels

Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Congo and Cameroon are the African are the áreas where this
specie lives . It inhabits the evergreen rain forests of the west of the continent. Other
habitats where it is found are secondary forests, subtropical forests, riverside forests,
flooded forests, forests close to savannahs, and thick thickets both on plateaus and in
mountainous terrain.

3. Identify which actions performed by humans in recent years have led to the
extinction of the three species that you chose (at least one action for each
species), and analyze the difference between this kind of extinction, to the one
that has happened during the ancient times through natural selection.

The mandrel is found in the forests where during the last years the fires have been much
more frequent, it is one of the reasons why these animals have lost life.

The polar bear, due to its habitat in cold areas, has been in danger of extinction due to
global warming, to the human responsibility for taking care of the planet and keeping the
frozen waters in their state.

Like the mandrill, the gorilla's habitat is affected by fires, and with deforestation.

Explain in detail how the disappearance of each of the species that you have chosen is
actually impacting or might impact other living beings and the environment.

These species are in danger of extinction since human beings, when carrying out actions
for our good, do not think about how harmful it is for animals living in those habitats that
we damage. We continue to damage their habitat and do nothing to repair it or make it
better so that it can last for many more years. This will continue to occur with other
species that are currently in abundance, but over time they will begin to disappear due to
the same thing.

4. Write down proposals (one for each species) to prevent the extinction of the
species that you have chosen and explain the importance of such activities for
human beings to become aware of the risk that we find by altering the
biological processes.
For the polar bear weh ave a huge issue, the global warming, so first we would need to
stop generating toxic gases fort he environment, and then we could preserve the hábitat
of polar bears

For mandrils I would propose to not being deforestating the habitat oft hat specie, i mean
that when a mandril is on the habitat, immediatly the zone need to be protected to avoid
deforestation.

For gorillaz I would propose the same idea as for the mandrils, so technically with the
same idea both species could be saved, or at least preserved until number of animals
increase.

5. Write a conclusion of the work, where you can talk about the achieved learning
and the purpose of it.

The research made me think about how humans since Industrial Revolution haven’t
cared about the preservation of species, and how because of that, many species are
exctint. So humans need to understand that their own actions are having a
repercution on the Earth, and soon that repercution wont be able to turn back (idk
how to explain it).
