1. If I were interviewing for an internship with Ontario Lottery and Gaming

Corporation, I would ask question that would help me to understand the

organization goals, values and responsibilities, Could you please provide me with

more information regarding the OLG's overall mission and goals? How does the

OLG ensure safe gaming environments and player security? How does the OLG

evaluate its performance in running casinos and promoting responsible gaming?

No, because OLG is responsible for Casino operations which is casino gambling

and also they have a self exclusion program which is accredited by the

government of Ontario for responsible gambling. Hence, since government has

taken the leadership and recognized the need for responsible gambling.

2. Yes, I agree with Gambling can become an addiction for people, leading to

them facing the dark realities of the gambling world. Because people can become

fascinated with the connection of the game, which can lead to negative

functioning of the mind and procedures. Gambling is one of the gaming disorders

that people fall victim to.

3. The government has established policies and programmers to promote

responsible gambling. When it comes to behaviors, it is only the consumer's

choice to get him into the act of gambling. Yes, when things become out of an

individual's control, he should seek advice from an Expert / Professional who can

best guide him.

4. It is troubling that OLG's dedication to social responsibility struggles with its

reliance on gaming earnings to finance the public sector and nonprofit

organizations. The province may target a specific consumer segment that is

vulnerable to problem gambling in order to fund healthcare, sports and leisure,

and cultural initiatives. It examines the damaging effects of compulsive consumer

gaming. Suicide is sometimes viewed as the only option after losing one's job. The

provincial government has apparently devised a self-exclusion program in which

problem gamblers can self-identify and request to be prohibited from all gaming

establishments.
