The victims, which included a 24-year-old, were rushed to Elmhurst Hospital with head trauma following 107,180
the 12:15 a.m. crash on 34th Avenue and 80th Street, cops said.
The operator of the dirtbike was “possibly” speeding westbound on 34th Avenue when it entered the
intersection of 80th Street and struck the rear driver’s side of the ambulance, an NYPD spokeswoman
said.

It's something like a miracle that there are no more serious injuries on 34th Avenue. It has
een designated a pedestrian and slow moving bicycle avenue, but mopeds, electric bikes and
bikes use the road at speeds well above what's posted. No enforcement whatsoever.

But, I thought the multiple millions of dollars spent on green and white paint for the bike lanes
as supposed to fix all this. What's that. The two young fools were weaving in and out of
