1. OPERATIVE / FUNCTIONALITY
Garments on hangers can be stocked manually in the ground floor for a short time, GIB (Goods in Buffer), or on the third floor in the
Manual Stock longer. In both of them, the system is made up for the same components and devices.
Normally the garments enter the stocking rails from a fence conveyor (200G). Once they are on it, the operators have to push them
manually along the rails and they are released to another fence conveyor also manually.
The manual storage is composed most of the cases by type 300 slick rail are mounted with hanger clamps to a special beam system
below the hall ceiling. The top of the slick rail is plastic covered, so not much effort is needed for moving individual hangers or hanger
packs thanks to this feature.
The slick rail unit can be extended to complex and space saving storage areas by including switches and slip-switches. All components
are dimensioned for a load capacity of max. 50 kg per meter.

☐ STEP 01
The rail of the stocked rail system consists of a galvanized 3/4" tube (A) with an abrasion-
resistant profile (B). This profile is screwed together with drilling screws (C every 1000mm.
The individual rails are connected with a rail joiner. Half of this rail joiner is slid into the tube
and tightened with the drilling screws (D).
☐ STEP 02
Durköpp slick rail system have various types of hangers. In Lelystad Platform is most used E
and F hangers.
☐ STEP 03
Entrance to the stocked rails (B) from fence conveyor is activated automatically by the
pneumatic system of the discharging unit.
Due to the long mounting bracket installed at only a 10° downward gradient, this unloading
unit is ideal for clothes hangers designed with very short hook lengths.

☐ STEP 05
There is usually a stopper at the end of the stocked rail to prevent garments from being
unintentionally induced into the next fence conveyor.
Durköpp slick rail system have various types of stoppers. In Lelystad Platform is most used
type 300 530003.
☐ STEP 06
The garments are output from the stock rail by manually pushing them until they jump from
point (A) to the next fence conveyor.
MAINTENANCE INTERVALS
☐ STEP 01
Slick rail are manual mechanical devices with a simple functioning, so they would not need
programmed maintenance.
Even so, it is advisable to check its operation and condition every six months and clean light
sensor also.
